Robyn Sullivan

Robyn turned up at the Diner with her bags, newly arrived in town, and told Irene she was looking for Chris, announcing that she was his girlfriend. She told Roo she’d had difficulty keeping in touch with Chris while she’d been travelling and showed her pictures of the two of them. Chris’ version of events however was that he and Robyn had only spent three days together while he was travelling in Thailand. However, he admitted she had kept e-mailing him and, rather than explain it was over, he had stopped replying and hoped she’d get the message.

Robyn unknowingly met Chris’ current girlfriend Indi when she stopped by the gym and told Roo she could see herself raising a family in Summer Bay. Chris met her on the beach: When he stopped replying, Robyn had assumed he wasn’t getting her messages so checked out his Facebook page and found out where he was. Chris suggested they had been apart for too long to just pick things up but denied that there was someone else, saying he just needed space. This prompted Robyn to move into the caravan park, convinced she had a chance.

After seeing Chris and Indi together on the beach, Robyn followed them to the gym where they bluntly told her that they were together and Chris wasn’t interested in her. Robyn headed up to Angelo’s where she complained to Kyle. Seeing him chatting with Tamara, Robyn sensed she was Kyle’s ex and suggested they head off somewhere. She and Kyle went back to his place and slept together, although he told her to stop talking when she continued to complain about Chris during the encounter. She let John and Jett see her there next morning but was left disappointed when Chris told her he wasn’t jealous and was pleased she’d moved on.

Robyn was given renewed hope when she saw Indi pushing Chris away after getting news of Romeo’s death, annoying him by suggesting Indi was fed up with him. She attended one of Indi’s boot camps and afterwards asked her if she was going to break up with Chris. Indi said even if she did, he wouldn’t get back with Robyn. Robyn accused Indi of jumping from guy to guy and not caring about any of them, prompting Indi to slap her. Robyn went to Chris and tried to get him to make Indi apologise. Chris told her to let it go and Robyn accused him of never taking responsibility.

Having overheard Irene and Marilyn talking about how Chris had supported Indi over Romeo, Robyn told him that her dad had died and convinced him to have lunch with her. Seeing Kyle still struggling with seeing Tamara back with Casey, she suggested he do what she did and invent a dead relative. Kyle quickly shared what she’d said with Chris and Indi, prompting them to summon Robyn to the gym. Robyn admitted her father was alive in Brisbane and Indi angrily accused her of using her grief, ordering her out.

Chris went after her and Robyn apologised, saying she should never have come to Summer Bay but had been in love with him. Chris apologised in return, admitting that not replying to her messages was taking the easy way out and he should have been straight with her. Chris and Indi saw Robyn off at the bus stop, where Robyn apologised to Indi as well and told Chris she wouldn’t e-mail him this time. Chris said if she did, she might get a reply.
