Extended Summary

Colby and Dean have a lengthy surf on the beach before Colby ends it, commenting on how good life is. In the car, Chelsea asks Bella if she knows what Ross is doing and why. Bella says he’s never tried to scare her before. Back on the beach, Colby notes he has to meet his wife. Dean calls it their last surf and Colby says he’ll be back. Chelsea asks for an opinion from Willow, who says Ross is hard, dangerous and unpredictable. She tries to talk to Ross, asking what he wants, but Ross won’t tell her anything.

Robbo finds Jasmine on the balcony. She says she was taking in the view and seeing how sparkly her ring is. She sees Alf down below and calls out to him that they’re engaged, showing him the ring. Alf is slightly bemused but congratulates them. At the Morgan house, Tori tells Leah that she should be happy about being pregnant, like she was last time, but is worried about how Robbo will react.

Colby and Dean arrive back at the flat to find Robbo and Jasmine kissing on the couch. Jasmine shows off her ring and Robbo and Colby reflect on how far they’ve both come since they started living there. In the car, over the others’ objections, Bella decides to talk to Ross, telling him she’ll go with him if he lets Chelsea and Willow go. Ross says no-one’s going anywhere until they hear from Colby. Chelsea realises they’re bait.

Ziggy is eating breakfast at Salt to get rid of her hangover. She checks that Brody doesn’t mind her staying out all night and he reminds her he suggested it. Ziggy says they should go away together but Brody says he can’t leave the business. Ziggy jokes that the business is like the other woman in their marriage and insists they do something today. Brody says they’ll go for a walk on the beach together after the rush. Later, Brody is chopping vegetables in the kitchen and ends up throwing the strainer away in frustration. A staffmember comes in and quickly makes himself scarce.

Colby and Dean are approaching the surf club with Dean commenting on Chelsea being late already. Colby tries to call Chelsea and Ross answers the phone, saying Chelsea, Willow and Bella are all with him and Colby should drive towards the national park. Dean tries and fails to call Willow. He and Colby get in his car and speed off. Dean wonders if they should call the Boys or the cops. Colby tells him to just drive and gets another call from Chelsea’s mobile.

At the Diner, Maggie tries to cheer Ziggy up about Brody’s plans and Ziggy notes she’s married a workaholic. Leah and Tori come in for a coffee before going to see Robbo. Jasmine comes in giddily showing off the engagement ring to Ziggy and Maggie. Leah and Tori congratulate her and she tells them Robbo’s gone to work. The two women head to the gym; Tori thinks she can’t tell Robbo on what should be the happiest day of his life but Leah insists nothing’s changed. They find Robbo and confirm Jasmine’s telling everyone, offering their congratulations. Leah offers to leave Robbo and Tori alone to chat but Tori says she’s done. Later, at the Morgan house, Tori tells Leah no-one can know, not even Justin. Leah wonders when Robbo’s going to find out he’s going to be a father. Tori says she’ll tell him after the twelve week scan.

The limo has drawn to a halt. Ross gets out, holding a piece of rope. Willow suggests they make a break for it but Chelsea points out they don’t know where they are. Ross opens the door and tells them to get out. Willow comes out first and shoulder barges Ross, telling Bella and Chelsea to run. They do, but after a brief struggle, Ross knocks Willow out and fires his gun into the air, causing them to halt. Bella calls him evil and Ross tells her to tie the others up. Soon after, Ross is marching Chelsea and Bella through the woods, Chelsea with her hands behind her back. Bella suggests they could just go away together but Ross says she chose Colby and they poisoned her against him. Chelsea says he did that himself when he killed their mother and should turn himself in. Ross says to move.

Brody gives Robbo and Jasmine a hamper and they jokingly call each other the future Mr Delaney and Mrs Shaw. Brody goes back into the kitchen just before Simone arrives. Ziggy recalls hearing Simone had got a job out of town and wishes her the best. Brody tells Ziggy to go on ahead and takes Simone aside for a chat. Brody says last night shouldn’t have happened. Simone says she’s leaving tomorrow and doesn’t want to go. Shortly after, Brody watches Ziggy from the balcony. Simone joins him and says they’re just talking: She needs to know if what happened meant anything to him.

Colby and Dean pull up near the limo. Colby sees a track before a groan draws their attention to Willow, tied up in front of the car. Dean frees her as Colby heads down the track. He sees Chelsea tried to a tree, then Ross appears dragging Bella. Dean and Willow catch up and Ross says they’re going to see who gets it: Colby’s wife or his sister. Colby refuses to choose and Ross threatens to choose for him, quietly telling Bella that Colby will choose Chelsea and then they’ll leave. Colby still refuses and runs towards Ross. Bella nudges Ross as he fires and Colby dives to the ground, unhurt. Ross finds he’s out of bullets and, after an attempt to reload, flees. Colby starts chasing him but Bella screams; Willow slumps into Dean’s arms, a wound in her upper left chest…
