7 Emmerdale Spoilers for Next Week – 1st to 4th June
Next week on Emmerdale, Graham springs to action as the arsonist strikes, Charity’s pushed to desperate measures, and Ross and Laurel’s fling leads Kim to the wrong conclusion.
NOTE: Emmerdale will not be airing on Friday 5th June.
1) Is Graham closing in on the arsonist?
The hunt for the Emmerdale Farm arsonist takes another turn next week, as Graham (Andrew Scarborough) continues his surveillance operation.
The fires have been causing growing concern for new tenants Robert (Ryan Hawley) and Aaron (Danny Miller), and after repeated blazes, the finger of suspicion briefly pointed towards Kammy (Shebz Miah) when he was found with a petrol can and lighter.

ITV
Kammy later admitted that he’d planned to torch his own car for the insurance money, but he wasn’t behind the attacks on the farm itself.
With Kammy’s homelessness then coming to light, Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Aaron were left horrified that they’d misjudged him so badly.
By the end of Friday’s episode, viewers discovered that the real culprit was much closer to home, as 14-year-old Kyle (Huey Quinn) secretly burned his black hoodie and revealed himself as the person responsible for the fires.

ITV
Next week, as Graham watches over the farm with his binoculars, he spots smoke in the distance and races towards neighbouring Wishing Well, where he finds a car on fire.

ITV

ITV
Eagle-eyed viewers will recognise the Volkswagen Polo as the one Cain (Jeff Hordley) had bought Kyle as a Christmas gift, the plan being that they’d restore it together.

ITV

ITV
In recent days, Kyle has been left increasingly disappointed by his dad’s reluctance to spend time with him, working on the car or otherwise, as Cain continues to deal with the aftermath of his surgery.
That frustration deepened when Kyle tried to make progress by putting the newly-delivered carburettor kit together himself.

ITV
Rather than supporting his efforts, Cain snapped that he was doing it wrong and had traipsed mud through the house, leaving Kyle upset once again.

ITV
Is the car fire merely coincidence, or is Kyle letting his frustrations over Cain get the better of him?
If so, will Graham be the one to finally uncover the identity of the Emmerdale Farm arsonist?
2) Gabby turns over a new leaf
Up at Home Farm, Gabby (Rosie Bentham) tries to pick herself up after being left humiliated by her misread of the situation with Ross (Michael Parr).
This week, Gabby was thrilled when Ross asked to meet her, believing he was flirting. Instead, she discovered she’d only been lined up as a new dance partner for Sam (James Hooton).

ITV
Her embarrassment deepened when she later attempted to seduce Ross, only for him to kindly but firmly reject her advances.
Next week, Gabby struggles to brush off the humiliation and resorts to drinking away her self-pity.
As she opens up to Dawn (Olivia Bromley) about Ross rejecting her, Dawn decides to quiz him over the situation in the café.

ITV
Ross insists there’s only one woman he’s interested in—and it isn’t Gabby. Whilst he won’t name names, the subtext is clear to Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) who’s sitting nearby, knowing exactly who he’s referring to.

ITV
The following day, Gabby’s hangover seems to be the wake-up call she needs, leaving her contemplating a change to ‘clean living’.
By midweek, she starts looking at whether The Hide could also benefit from a healthier menu.

ITV
Will a healthier lifestyle be the making of Gabby, or is she setting herself up for another fall?
3) Archie’s scam is rumbled
Elsewhere, Archie (Kai Assi) finds his latest scheme catching up with him, as Kerry (Laura Norton) and Eric (Chris Chittell) realise they’ve both been played.
With his dad Jai (Chris Bisson) away in Canada, Archie has already manipulated Jai into letting Kerry look after him instead of Laurel, giving him the chance to push his luck even further.

ITV
Proving himself to be a chip off the old block, Archie separately manages to talk Kerry and Eric into handing over money. But his luck runs out when the pair compare notes and realise that the teenager has been running a small scam under their noses.
Kerry and Eric quickly make sure they get their money back, before landing Archie with a punishment that keeps him firmly under supervision—working in the shop, with cleaning among his first jobs.

ITV
But while Archie has been caught out, Eric can’t help being impressed by the nerve behind his money-making efforts.
4) Kim fears the worst for Lydia
Sam’s attempt to make things up to Lydia (Karen Blick) continues to cause confusion next week, as his secret dance lessons with Ross leave his wife feeling increasingly shut out.

ITV
After missing Lydia’s dance class, Sam has been relying on Ross to help him improve in private, hoping that he’ll eventually be able to impress her. But whilst it’s meant to be a nice surprise, the secrecy around it is starting to have the opposite effect.

ITV
As the week begins, Sam’s desperate for more help from Ross, even if it means turning down a cosy evening with Lydia. Although Sam’s intentions are good, Lydia is hurt to feel that he’s choosing other commitments over spending time with her.
Kim (Claire King) soon notices the strain between them, and she’s later taken aback to discover that Sam’s been using work as an excuse to disappear. Concerned for Lydia, she starts to wonder what Sam is really up to.

ITV
The situation becomes even more confusing when Sam calls over at Dale View, desperate to squeeze in another dance lesson, and interrupts a secret liaison between Ross and Laurel.

ITV
Despite Laurel’s best efforts to hide, she’s soon spotted by Sam, and Ross covers quickly by claiming he’s convinced Laurel to help Sam with his dancing.

ITV
As Lydia continues to feel pushed away, Kim’s suspicions keep growing.
When Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) later reveals that Laurel is secretly seeing someone in the village, Kim jumps to the wrong conclusion and becomes convinced that Sam is having an affair with Laurel!

ITV
5) Ross and Laurel continue their romance
Meanwhile, after giving in to her attraction to Ross, Laurel finds herself drawn further into their secret fling.

ITV
Ross promises to keep their entanglement on the down low, but their arrangement already has Nicola taking far too much interest.
She’s clearly enjoying the drama from the sidelines, though her excitement risks becoming a problem when she comes dangerously close to letting something slip to Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker).

ITV
Later in the week, Gabby’s insistence that she’s over Ross helps ease Laurel’s guilt, allowing her to enjoy the romance without feeling quite so conflicted.

ITV
But with Nicola struggling to keep quiet, will Laurel and Ross’s secret stay hidden for much longer?
6) Charity plans a robbery!
Charity’s (Emma Atkins) attempt to solve her blackmail nightmare hits a major setback next week, as Dr Todd (Caroline Harker) continues to hold Leyla’s parentage over her.
Todd initially demanded £10,000 to keep quiet after discovering that Charity and Ross are baby Leyla’s biological parents, but the stakes rose when she learned that Charity half-owns The Woolpack. Realising Charity has a much bigger asset to exploit, Todd raised her demand to £100,000.

ITV
Charity appeared to have found a way out by agreeing to sell her share of the pub to Kim, only for the plan to collapse next week when Kim pulls out of the purchase.

ITV
With Todd still waiting for her money, Charity tries to salvage the situation by asking Kim for a loan instead.

ITV
When that also fails, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) witnesses Charity shouting about the sale falling through and demands to know what’s going on.
Defeated, Charity finally admits that Todd has been blackmailing her over Leyla’s parentage, knowing the truth would devastate Sarah (Katie Hill) and Jacob (Joe-Warren Plant).

ITV
Once Chas understands what Charity is facing, the pair come up with a risky new plan to pay Todd off—robbing the Home Farm safe!
Later in the week, Charity gives Todd some money as a down payment, but Todd has no intention of easing the pressure.

ITV
She tells Charity that she wants the rest of the cash by the following day—or she’ll expose Leyla’s parentage at Sarah’s 21st birthday party.

ITV
With Sarah’s milestone celebration now under threat, can Charity stop Todd before the secret comes out?
7) Liam urges Cain to live his life
Also next week, Cain is urged to face the next stage of managing his recovery, as he continues to adjust to life after his prostate surgery.
Since having his catheter removed, Cain has been struggling with worries about incontinence and how he’ll cope when he’s away from home. An attempt to reclaim some normality by going to the pub ended badly, when he was arrested after being caught short at the side of the road.

ITV
The incident left Cain humiliated, especially after PC Swirling’s (Andy Moore) colleague noted that Cain had leaked on his jeans.

ITV

ITV
Although Cain later admitted the truth about his overnight stay in the cells to Moira (Natalie J Robb), his anxiety about being out in public hasn’t gone away.

ITV
Next week, Liam (Jonny McPherson) encourages Cain to stop letting those fears control him and look for practical ways to start living his life again.
After everything Cain has been through, will Liam’s advice help him take a small step forward?
