Patrick Kingsley

Patrick was the father of Tamara. He and his wife Joanne were estranged from Tamara, having blamed her for the death of her brother Pete, who died in a car crash after being beaten up by her boyfriend Nelson Gregory. Casey contacted them after Tamara developed amnesia, causing her to forget her time in Summer Bay but remember her parents. Patrick and Joanne came to the Braxton house to meet Casey, along with Brax, Kyle and Ricky.

Casey took Patrick and Joanne to the surf club while Kyle went to get Tamara, where John gave them “apple tango surprise” on the house. Patrick wondered if Tamara would turn up and Joanne reminded him what they’d said the last time they saw her. Tamara arrived and she and her parents reminisced over some photo albums. Patrick said they had to get back to the farm but suggested Tamara come back with them and they look after her.

Tamara initially agreed to go with them but changed her mind at the last minute, saying she couldn’t leave without remembering everything, and either way her life was there now. Patrick gave her a hug goodbye before comforting Joanne. The following year, Tamara went to live with her parents after suffering another accident which nearly left her blind.
