Chapter 19 The Morgan's house Phoebe is still standing outside but now alone... she keeps replaying Brody's words in her head Tori: hey Phoebe: whoa you scared me Tori: sorry Phoebe: that's ok, I was just in my own head I guess Tori: anything interesting? Phoebe: to be decided.. Tori: you know if there's anything you need to talk about I'mm here for you Phoebe: why because were family now? Tori: family, friends, same difference, it all counts Phoebe: I guess it does.. can I ask you something? Tori: sure fire away Phoebe: when you had to chose between Nate and Duncan, why'd you chose Duncan for? Tori: um because I didn't want to get hurt by Nate I guess Phoebe: so you chose the safe option? so to speak Tori: I guess.. I think I chose Duncan because I liked him but not enough to get heart broken by him you know Phoebe: but now you and Nate are together and happy Tori: yeah we are but it took forever.. kind of like you and Justin hey? Phoebe: yeah we sure did Tori: but now you guys are happy Phoebe: yeah we are.. I love him Tori: right so everything's prefect? Mason swims to the sand bar and then stands on it Mason: I'm king of the world! Justin: for five seconds Mason: what do you mean by Justin tackles him into the water Justin: ha, I win Mason: you suck Justin: sore loser Mason: like you can talk, you always sulk when you lose monopoly Justin: only because you guys cheat Mason: no we don't Justin: do too Mason: do not Justin: ok stop, time to act like the adults we are Mason: oh alright Mason splashes Justin Justin: oi no fair, I wasn't ready Mason: you snooze you lose Justin: I don't think so Justin splashes Mason back Mason: oi Justin: nar nar nah, you can't catch me Justin starts swimming back to shore Mason: I'm coming for you Mason starts swimming and eventually he catches up, they are neck to neck but at the last second Justin hits the beach first Justin: and the crowd goes wild Mason: yeah you only won by a second big deal Justin: a second is all it takes bro, chin up, take the loss like a man Mason: yeah, yeah Mason goes to check his phone and is surprised by a missed call, he calls the unknown number back but is shocked by what he hears!
