Finally caught up!

Ch 7: Roo took it pretty well! I'm glad Leah is keeping the baby. It looks like Dex and April are doing well.

Ch 8: Dex' reaction was quite funny. I like that he didn't freak out when she told him. Obviously, it still came as a shock. He may be 'geekier' (is that a word?) than other 18-year-old boys but he is more mature and responsible than most of them. I'm sure he'll be a good father.

Ch 9: I liked Leah and Sid's talk. It was nice of him to make sure she was alright. See, I was right when I said Dex would ba a good father. He handled the situation with VJ really well. For their sakes, I hope everything will go well with the pregnancy.

Ch 10: VJ couldn't get out of there any faster! :P It's really sweet of Dex to take care of Leah.

Ch 11: Lol at Dex' 3D comment! It's nice to see Dallas and William again!

Ch 12: Dex is great with kids! I doubt William knows what a blueprint is though. :P

Ch 13: Looks like the date went well. I had to smile at Dex' comment about Dallas being pregnant. I hope they used protection though, especially as they both are (going to be) young parents.

Ch 14: Stephen is a nice name. I'm glad everything went well. I just loved this paragraph:

Dexter led the way through the double doors of the hospital, followed by Dallas carrying William, followed by Indi and Sasha. They were greeted by a bemused looking VJ.“Why are they all here?”he asked.

“Moral support,”Dexter explained.

“How’s it all going?”Sasha asked.

VJ shrugged.“Don’t know.Mum wouldn’t let me in there.”

Dexter clapped him on the shoulder.“You don’t know want to do that, Veej.A woman in labour is a horrifying sight.Sweating and screaming and with a deep loathing and resentment of anyone unfortunate enough to have been born male…Actually, you can go in instead of me if you like.”

Sid came over.“Dexter!Leah’s been taken through to the delivery room and everything’s proceeding well. She’s been expecting you.”

Dexter looked pained.“Really?Couldn’t she be expecting VJ or one of the girls?Or how about Dallas, she knows what it’s like.”He looked beseechingly at his girlfriend.“For me?Please?”

“Dexter, this is your first child,”Indi pointed out,“My first niece or nephew.Entering the world.Do you really want to miss the chance to brag about what it was like?”

Dexter looked even more pained as he weighed up the pros and cons.“Oh, okay,”he sighed at last.

Dallas kissed him on the cheek.“We’ll all be waiting here for you.”

Dexter gestured to Sid.“Lead the way, Doctor Walker.”

Epilogue: It looks like Dex is going to have a very big family. I'm glad things are still going well With Dallas.

Great fic, RR1! :D On my way to read the sequel! :D
