Chapter 10 The morning afterwards at the Hunter House Matilda: Hey mum Beth: Hi Matilda: You look happy this morning Beth: Do I? Matilda: Yeah Beth: Maybe its because Tony asked me out on a date last night Matilda: Wow, im pleased for you mum, does that mean your getting back together again Beth: His only asked me out on a date, Matilda Matilda: Yeah, but it means he likes you Beth looks at Matilda Its 6:45PM at Jacks place and Tony is getting ready, Jack has just come in from work Jack: Hey, dad you look like your going on a date Tony looks at Jack happily Tony:Thats because I am. Jack: Wow, who with? Tony: Errm..Beth actually Jack: Oh right... well have a good night Tony: Thanks, I was thinking could you maybe you could go out or something mate, because we're having dinner here as you can see Jack: Yeah, no worries dad Tony: Thanks mate Its 7 o'clock and Beth knocks at the door Tony: Hi Tony kisses Beth on the cheek Tony:You look fantastic! Beth: Oh, thanks so do you Tony: Well what do you think? Beth: Tony, you shouldn't have gone to so much trouble Tony: Oh, it was no trouble at all, well i have cooked some Chinese cuisine Beth: Wow, that looks amazing, whats it called? Tony: Ermm, I don't think im even going to try and pronounce it Beth: Oh, okay, well im sure it tastes good anyway Shes trying to eat with chopsticks but its not going too well Beth: Sorry, i'm not too good with chopsticks Tony: Thats okay, it takes a while to master, took me ages Tony gets up and helps Beth Tony: I've got an idea, you hold the chopsticks, and I will put my hands on top of yours and we will go from there Beth looks at Tony. Tony: There we go Beth: It's a bit embarrasing having to ask you to help me eat Tony: Don't worry. I cooked it so I want you to enoy it A few minutes have passed Beth: Thankyou for such a wonderul dinner. I don't know what I would do without you Tony.... They both look at each other in the eyes. Beth: Sorry, I didn't mean it like that Tony: I know what you mean, its very kind of you to say that Beth: I mean it Tony: How about we take a stroll down to the surf club and sit outside? Beth: Yeah, i'd like that Tony and Beth head to the surfclub, and after sit on the same rocks as the time before Tony: Oh, just as beautiful as last time Beth: Yeah it is Tony: So... hows Mattie? Beth: Yeah shes okay thanks, misses Lucas, but you know they can still see each other. Tony: Yeah, I feel like it was my fault, you know, if we hadn't of broken up, then none of this would have happened Beth: Yeah, I know but its not your fault Tony: says jokingly Maybe we shouldn't have broken up in the first place Beth: Yeah Beth laughs faintly Tony: Sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel awkward or anything Beth: Don't worry, you didn't anway its getting kinda late, I should probably be heading off Tony: Yeah, okay They reach their houses Beth: I had a really good time tonight Tony: We should do it again some time Beth: Yeah that would be good Tony: Well, actually i'm going to an anniversary party tommorow, its for one of my mates, you can come if you like Beth: I'd love too Tony: Great Tony: I guess i'll see you tomorrow then Beth: Yep, night Tony kisses Beth on the cheek Tony: Night sweetheart Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I also love writing all the tension between them though . Chapter 11 The morning afterwards at the Hunter house Beth: I’m just going next door Mattie. Matilda: Jokingly To see your boyfriend? Beth: Mattie, thats enough. Matilda: How did your date go anyway? Beth: Yeah, good. Matilda: Good, or really good? Beth: Oh okay, really good, his invited me to an anniversary party tonight, so you'll have to stay with Jack and Lucas is that okay with you? Matilda: Yeah thats fine.....I miss Tony you know. Beth: I know you do, I do too. Matilda: Well i’m going to the surf club. Beth: Okay love. Matilda: Bye mum. Matilda leaves. Beth starts thinking to herself about how she really does miss not having Tony around. At Jack’s place, Tony is getting ready to go shopping, he looks in his wallet to see if he has enough money, he looks in the compartment where there used to be a photo of Beth, inside. He puts a photo of Beth in it at the barbeque. At the Hunter house Matilda: Well, i'm heading off next door. Beth: Say hi to Tony for me and tell him i’ll be round in a minute. Matilda: Got it. Beth goes into her bedroom and open bedside table draw, and gets out the necklace Tony gave her and puts it on. Jack’s house Matilda knocks at the door. Tony: It’s open. Matilda: Hi guys. Oh Tony, mum said to tell you that she'll be round in a minute. Tony: Do you think you could just go and tell her that i’ll need a few more minutes? Beth walks through the door Beth: Hello. Matilda: Ah, you can tell her yourself. Beth: Tell me what? Tony: Nothing. Tony notices Beth is wearing the necklace he bought her before they broke up. Tony: Your wearing that necklace. Beth: I thought it went with what I have on. Tony: It looks nice Beth Beth: If you don't won't me to wear it, I understand. Tony: No, no. I didn't mean that, I was trying to say i’m pleased that you don't mind wearing it. Beth: Why would I mind? Tony: Well, I bought it for you. Beth: Thats got nothing to do with it, I think of you when I wear it thats why I like it. Tony: Right, well I’ll be with you in a minute Beth: I’ll be waiting. A few minutes later Beth: WOW! Tony: Do I look okay? Beth: Okay? You look gorgous! Tony: Wow that good? Beth: Yep, absoulutly. At the party Tony: Beth this is my mate Nick. Nick: Nice to meet you Beth. Beth: Nice to meet you too. Nick: I didn’t know you were seeing someone after what whats her name...Beth, yeah her name was Beth too. Beth: Neither did I. You weren’t going out with someone after me where you? Tony: No. I think your a bit confused Nick, me and Beth broke up a couple of months ago but we’re kind of going out again now. Another one of Tony’s friends calls him over Tony: Sorry guys, I’ll be back in a minute. You alright here. Beth: I’ll be fine. Nick: Oh sorry, for the misunderstanding. I’m suprised you two are going out again though I must say. Beth: Why’s that? Nick: Well, Tony has told me quite a bit about how he felt about you after you broke up with him. Beth: What? Beth looks over at Tony Beth: And by the way, I didn’t break up with him we just decided it would be better if we weren’t together anymore. Nick: Must of got confused, sorry. Nick walks off. Tony comes back to were Beth is. Tony: Are you alright Beth, you seem a bit uptight? Beth: What did you say to Nick about me after we broke up? Tony: That was ages ago I can’t remember. Beth: From the way he put it, it sounded like you said something. Tony doesn’t answer her but has a guilty look on his face Beth: Tony, tell me what you said to him! Yeah Nick is a bit of a nosey person . Tony soon explains what he said to Nick...it wasn't too bad . The exciting part of the fic will be coming up soon, i'm not saying when, but i'll try not to keep you waiting too long before you get read it!!
