It will become clearer as the fic continues, that Beth feels quite insecure about her relationship with Tony. Basically she thinks Tony will treat her the same way Jack (Hunter) and Rhys did. So Tony has to convince her that he is not like Jack or Rhys in anyway, he is a completely different person. That's quite late in the fic so i'll give you a few teasers for the next couple of chapters . The next chapter will be set 2 and half months later from when Tony moved out btw . Teasers Tony organizes a barbeque, will Beth be the one he will be dancing with?? Mattie tries to convince her mum that her and Tony should get their acts together!!! bttb-rox! Posted June 4, 2007 Report Share Posted June 4, 2007 Enjoy ........ Chapter 4 2 and a half months later, and Tony and Lucas are living at Jack’s place. They have put a lot of their bad feelings aside although sometimes it can get a bit awkward between them but they are now just good friends..... Tony is putting out the rubbish, so is Beth. Tony: Hi Beth. Beth: Hey. Tony: You had the same idea. Beth: Yeah. Tony: Me and Jack are having a barbeque tomorrow night on the beach, your more than welcome to come. Beth: Oh thanks, maybe just have to see how things go. Tony: Sure. Beth: I better get back inside. Tony: Hopefully see you tomorrow then. Beth: Yeah, right. They both head indoors. Matilda: I heard Tony saying that he and Jack are having a barbeque tomorrow night. Beth: Yes they are. Matilda: Cool. Beth: We’re not going Mattie, it would be too awkward. Matilda: Mum,Its only a barbeque. Beth: I know, I know. Matilda: Its so obviously that you still like him. Beth: Excuse me. Matilda: You still like him don’t you. Beth: Who? Matilda: Tony! Beth: Matilda, we’re not together anymore. Matilda: I know that, but I think you still like him! Beth: If I say we’re going to the barbeque tomorrow we’ll you stop saying that I like Tony? Matilda: Mmmm, fairly good deal. Beth: Right. Then go and decide what you are going to wear or something. Matilda walks off toward her room. Matilda: It’s so obvious. Beth: Matilda! Matilda: Sorry! Beth smiles to herself. Its the the night of the barbeque The Hunter house Matilda: Hey mum, you look great in that dress. Beth: Awww thanks Mattie. Matilda: Not trying to impress anyone are we? Beth: Matilda, I know where your going with this! Matilda: Where? Beth: Let me guess...Tony? Matilda: You got it! Beth: Look Mattie, I know you want us to get together but me and Tony are over okay we’ve both moved on. Matilda: It’s not like your seeing anyone and as far as I know he is not seeing anyone either, so I don’t why you freak out so much when I mention his name! Beth: I just don’t like talking about us. Matilda: Us, as in you and Tony? Beth: Well, yeah. Matilda: You said that as though it was in the present tense! Beth: Okay, lets get going then shall we.... Matilda: Fine but i’m not giving up on this. Beth: Don’t get me started again Mattie! At the beach, Tony is wearing a black shirt with silver tie and dark jeans. Tony is setting up the barbeque with some of the other guests. Tony: Wow, Beth, look at you! You look so beautiful. Beth – Well you don’t look to bad yourself! Tony: Aww thank you, well have a good night. Beth: I will. Tony: Right, everybody I would just like to say thanks for coming, the weather is absoulutely fantastic so it should be a good night. A bit later we are going to have some music and dancing, so find yourself a partner, have a good night everybody! Tony: Okay ladies and Gentlemen. Everyone laughs. Tony:We have got the music so, if you'd like to find yourself a partner. Jack: You haven't got one dad. Tony: I know that mate. Jack: Neithers Beth. Tony: I know where your going, no I’m sure Beth wants to dance with someone, who can actually dance! Martha: Come on Jack. Jack: Coming, coming, coming...... Everybody else is dancing apart from Tony and Beth and a guest called Chris who has been chatting away to Beth most of the evening. Tony looks over at Beth. He begins to walk over to her because he was just about to ask weather she wanted to dance with him. But instead sits on some rocks. . Chris is standing next to Beth. Chis: Beth? Beth: What? Chris: Would you like to dance with me? Beth looks over at Tony. Beth: Sounding unsure Yeah, i’d like that.. Chris: Cool. Chris leads Beth hand in hand, over to were the other guests are dancing. But she can't help looking at Tony who has no one to dance with. She looks at him over Chris's shoulder, its obvious she is feeling tense. Chris notices that Beth is uncomfortable about something. Chris: Why do you keep looking at Tony? Beth: Oh....we used to be together Chris: Oh, i’m sorry. Beth: Yeah me too. Chris’s phone rings Beth pulls away from Chris Chris: That was my boss I’ve got to go and cover someones night shift. Beth: Thats okay. Chris: I’d like to catch uup with you sometime. Beth: That would be nice, but I’m pretty busy with....work and stuff. Chris: Too busy to go out for dinner? The conversastion is becoming more awkward. Beth: I guess not. Chris: Great! How about next week then? Beth: I’ll see how it goes. Chris: Just let me know then Beth: Right. I’ll see you soon then. Chris: Looking foward to it already. Chris kisses Beth. Roccoluver Posted June 4, 2007 Report Share Posted June 4, 2007 3 awesome updates and they are still not back together Im not sure how to comment about three chapters but I will anyway Chapter 2 and 3, all they need to do was talk instead of Tony running away, Jack should of sent him right back to Beth (okay maybe not) Chapter four I don't like Chris, he's in the way of Betony (what is Beth and Tony real "ship" thing) and its so clear that they love each other (Beth and Tony not Beth and Chris lol) update soon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They will get together I promise and maybe a little bit more than that....but i'm not telling until nearer the time . I created Chris so that he would cause a bit of confusion for Beth over whether she should go out with him or whether she should wait and tell Tony how she feels! Beth: Just go to work Chris. Chris: Maybe I won’t see you next week then. Beth: Probably not. Chris: Nice to meet you though. Beth: Yeah you too. Chris walks off Beth: Not! Tony moves off from rocks and walks up to Beth, now that Chris has gone. Beth: Hey. Tony: Hi. I know you've already been dancing quite alot with Chris but... would you like to dance with me? Beth: I'd love too. And by the way, don't talk to me about Chris. Tony: Right, yeah he is a bit of a character, his kind of one of my mates...mates. Beth: I didn't really mean that...he kissed me. Tony: Yeah I was watching. Beth: Oh right. Beth looks embarrased for a moment. Tony: Well you still feel up for a dance? Beth: Absouloutely. They hold hands, over to were people are dancing on the sand. The sun is just above the horizon, the beach looks amazing. Tony puts his hands on Beths shoulders, and she puts her hands around Tonys head. And they start dancing. Beth and Tony look deep into each others eyes. 'White flag' by Dido starts playing.... I know you think that I shouldn't still love you, Or tell you that. But if I didn't say it, well I'd still have felt it where's the sense in that? I promise I'm not trying to make your life harder Or return to where we were I will go down with this ship and I won't put my hands up and surrender There will be no white flag above my door Tony: I know i've told you a billion times, but you look totally stunning. Beth: Your going to make me blush! Tony: Ahh, but you would still look beautiful. I'm in love and always will be. Beth and Tony both smile at each other. Teasers for upcoming chapters Tony and Beth share an awkward moment at the Hunter house , will they get back together??!! Tony asks Beth out on a date, what will her answer be?!
