Chapter 12 The Hunter house Matilda I can’t believe your dad and my mum are finally going out again, its fantastic! Lucas: Its great news. Matilda: They never truely stopped loving each other. Lucas: I’m never going to stop loving you either. Lucas and Matilda kiss. Back at the party Tony sits Beth down on a chair Beth: So what did you say to Nick about me after you and I broke up? Tony: All I said was...why did I have to fall in love with someone like you. Beth: You said that. Tony: I’m sorry I said that about you okay, I shouldn’t have. Look all I want to do is enjoy the rest of the eveing with my mates and most importantly, you, without dragging the past out. I only see you and me in the future. Beth: I didn’t know you were so good with words. Tony: Now you do. Tony slowly leans in to kiss Beth but before he can, the music goes off. Tony: What! Beth: Why don't we go home? Tony looks at Beth. They both smile Tony: ...Lets go home. They walk home, they stop outside Jacks place. Beth: Tonight was great. Tony: Yeah it was. Tony drops his wallet and the picture of Beth is visible. Beth picks it up and looks at it. Beth: That was the picture from the barbeque wasn't it? Tony: I don’t know why I put it in there...exactly. Beth: Why have you got it in your wallet, Tony? Tony: Well, its a beautiful picture of you and I put it in there because... Beth: Because... Tony takes a gasp of air and looks at Beth. Tony: I'm in love with you Beth. There’s an awkward silence between them, Tony looks the other way but Beth looks at Tony. Beth: I love you too. Tony: What? Beth: I love you too. Tony: Wow...I wasn't expecting you to say that. Beth: The last couple of days have been really great and I know that, thats been because of spending more time with you. I know i've got Mattie but its not the same as having you. Beth smiles warmly at Tony. Tony: That is so sweet Beth: Well, its true. They both stand there waiting for the other person to say somethihng, but neither of them do. Tony moves in and kisses Beth. Don't worry she is just worried about Mattie seeing her and Tony kiss (i'm really not sure why I wrote that bit in). I just wanted to end it there so that you guys would be intrigued as to what would happen next . Tony will propose in either chapter 13 or 14, not sure which one yet. Will update tomorrow!! I rewrote this part of the script because I didn't think it sounded very good originally. Enjoy ... Chapter 13 Beth: ...Tony. Tony: nervously What? Beth: I don’t know whether we should we be doing this Tony:Well, why not? We love each other...don’t we? Beth: Yes. Beth smiles Beth: But what if things don’t work out for us again? What then? Tony: They will, I know they will. I have never felt like this about anyone before, and thats because I am truely in love with you Beth. Beth: I’m being stupid then? Tony: ...Yes! Look, as long as we have each other everything is going to work out, okay? Beth: ...Okay. Tony: Now where were we? Tony gives Beth a cheeky smile. They start kissing again. Beth: What if someone sees us...Mattie for instance? And I don’t think we should be kissing like this, right next door to my house. Tony: Don’t be silly, she wants us back together anyway. And in anwer to your second concern, how about we head back to my place? Tony gives Beth another cheeky smile Beth: ...Sounds good. They start kissing again. Matilda looks out of the winddow and sees her mum and Tony kissing. Matilda: Lucas, look! Lucas: That is disgusting, can I go now. Matilda: Agreed, it is a bit disgusting but hey they are kissing which must mean they are officially back together again. Mattie walks out of the Hunter House Matilda: Oh, your still at it! Grose. Beth and Tony look at each other Tony: What do you mean by grose? Matilda: It’s just...grose. I wanted you to get back together,but I just didn’t want to see....what I just saw. Tony and Beth both laugh together Matilda: So does this mean your back together now? Tony: Well, yes i suppose. We’re just going to take it slow though and not rush anything. Matilda: Thats great, guys! Mattie gives Tony a big hug. Tony: Awww thanks Mattie. Matilda: So when are you going to move back in? Tony: Oh Mattie, I haven't thought that far ahead yet. As I said before we’re not going to rush things. Matilda: Well, its great to have you around again i’ve really missed you. Tony: I've missed you too, especially you Beth. Matilda: Okie..I’m off! Tony and Beth laugh. Matilda goes back into the Hunter house. Tony and Beth hug. Beth: I better go back inside. Tony: What about coming over to my place? Beth: Ermm...maybe we should do that some other time. Whispers I don’t think Mattie would be too pleased if she caught us again. Tony: Okay, but soon alright? Beth nods. Tony: I love you. Beth: I love you too Tony. Tony leans in to kiss Beth again, but Beth pulls away. Tony: What now? Beth: Lets not push our luck, hey?
