Extended Summary

Remi and Sonny are outside the surf club, discussing going to the bucks and hen night. Sonny thinks it’s going to be a disappointment. An encounter with Levi and Mackenzie, who are on their way there with non-alcoholic drink, doesn’t exactly encourage him. Back at the farm house, Cash, Eden, Tane, Abigail and Mali are enjoying the party. Tane and Abigail comment on how they’ve managed to pull it off. Abigail laments that they’re not going to get to play the games she planned, pointing out that one of them was a Pin the Tail on the Donkey which involved a picture of Cash and not exactly a tail. Levi, Mackenzie and Remi turn up. Eden makes a comment to Levi about Mackenzie’s condition and he takes her aside.

Levi takes Eden into the house and tells her they’re keeping it under wraps before realising she’s talking about the implantation. Eden asks if Mackenzie’s pregnant. Levi says she is but they’re trying to keep it quiet. Eden is delighted. At the coffee cart, Harper runs into Dana and Sonny and comments that they must be pleased they’re going to the party together. Bree appears and says she isn’t going because she’s on call at the hospital, while Harper has to look after Archie. Bree suggests Harper spend the evening at hers.

Cash is quickly making his way through the strong whiskey and says he asked Tane to be his best man because there was a narrow field. Eden comes over and Cash comments that she’s beautiful and they should have a whiskey bar in the house. Nearby, Levi admits to Mackenzie that he told Eden. Mackenzie wants to tell Tane, and Levi wants to tell Abby. They agree to both and Levi goes and whispers in Abigail’s ear. Shortly after, Sonny and Dana turn up at the party. Sonny feels his belief that it’s going to be lame has come true. Remi checks on Eden, realising there’s something bothering her. Eden tells him about Cash’s vows.

At the Diner flat, Bree looks uncomfortable holding Archie. She gets a text calling her into work, her first time back since the attack. Seeing she’s uncomfortable, Harper offers to go with her, saying she can get Marilyn to look after Archie. Some time later, the two of them are in the lift at the hospital. Harper says Bree doesn’t have to do this if she doesn’t want to. As the doors open, Bree takes a deep breath and steps out.

At the party, various pairings are dancing: Sonny and Dana, Levi and Mackenzie, Mali and Abigail, plus Tane propping up Cash. Dana takes a group photo. Nearby, Eden shows Remi the vows and he ponders if they would be any better if he put them to music. He tries to suggest that it doesn’t matter because Cash has written them from the heart. Meanwhile, Mackenzie takes Tane inside. He admits feeling guilty about being there while Harper’s looking after the baby but says being a parent’s worth it. Mackenzie tells him she’s pregnant and they’ve only told close friends and family. Tane gives her a hug.

Harper brings Bree a drink at the hospital. Bree tells her she doesn’t need to hang around and Harper agrees to go and get Archie. Bree goes in to see a patient. Inside the farm house, Eden tells Remi that she doesn’t want the vows to be part of their wedding story. Dana and Sonny bring Cash in. Eden tells him she doesn’t think they should have personalised vows anymore and finally says his suck. Cash tells her W is for Why did you go though my things?: He planted fake vows after John tipped him off.

Dana and Sonny arrive back at the Diner flat. Sonny has taken a bottle of champagne for a private party, claiming it’s not stealing if it goes to a loving home. After a bit of flirting, Dana gets a text from Harper and says that, since the party’s winding down, she wants to invite Harper over to have a drink with them while Tane looks after Archie.

Cash is asleep on the sofa as Eden complains to Remi, who reminds him she once wore an engagement ring so he’d think he drunkenly proposed to her. Mali and Abigail come in and say there’s a taxi outside. Tane and Remi help Cash to his feet and they and Eden head out to the taxi. Tane congratulates Mackenzie as they leave, which leaves Cash momentarily wondering if she’s getting married. Mali and Abigail sound the other out about it and realise they both know. Levi and Mackenzie confirm they all know.

Harper is waiting up as Tane and Eden bring Cash home. She tells them Archie’s asleep in her room. Eden gets Cash to the bedroom and Tane confirms he can look after Archie while Harper goes to see Dana. In his room, Cash wonders if Eden is mad and comments I is for Idiot and he wants everyone to know how much he loves her. Eden then has to grab a bin for him to throw up in.

Sonny and Dana playfully debate who would find it easier to seduce the other. Sonny goes to open the champagne just as Harper comes in: The cork hits her in the eye. Meanwhile, Remi and Bree run into each other outside the surf club. They make awkward small talk, with Remi explaining the party ended early because Cash got drunk and Bree explaining she’s back at the hospital and was getting some food. Remi assumes he’ll see her at the wedding but Bree says she’ll have to work then too.

Bree arrives back at the hospital and is greeted by Dana, who asks her to look at Harper’s eye. They go over to where Sonny is apologising. Bree looks at the red and swollen eye. Harper says to please tell her it’s not as bad as it feels.
