Extended Summary

Bree is looking increasingly irritated as Remi plays the guitar, eventually asking him if he has to do it so loud. She is still worrying about Levi’s complaint, even though she’s heard nothing official. Remi suggests he might have changed his mind. Cash and Eden come into the house, still arguing. Cash thinks Eden is interfering while Eden insists Michelle wants to go home and is scared of upsetting him: She wanted to meet him, not spend weeks with him. Eden goes to her room and Remi sends Cash away.

At the Morgan house, Justin asks Leah what he’s done to make her think he’d cheat. Leah reminds him he’s been lying to her for weeks. Justin says she tried to end their marriage and told all their friends he was a cheater. Leah says Theo was there when she spoke to Eric but admits he didn’t believe him. She ends up walking out and ignoring Justin’s attempts to talk to her.

Cash is on the phone to Michelle, checking they’re still on for dinner and saying Eden said something he wants to talk about. Remi turns up and asks Cash if he’s okay, saying Eden was just trying to help Michelle. He asks why Cash doesn’t want her to leave. Cash admits she’s the only part of Felicity he has left. Meanwhile, Marilyn is insisting on walking Alf home from the surf club. They run into Leah standing on her own. Leah admits she got it wrong and Justin didn’t cheat, but needs time to think about what the problem is. Alf offers her somewhere to stay.

Eden talks to Remi and Bree about Cash’s issues. Bree says this is why the process is anonymous. Eden says he’s not listening to reason. Bree says men don’t know when to back off. Eden realises she’s not talking about Cash and looks at Remi, who says it’s not his story to tell. Eden leaves them to it while Bree stares at her phone instead of listening to Remi.

Mackenzie is on the phone discussing a payment plan. Levi comes home early and realises she’s applying for a loan. Mackenzie explains about planning to buy Cash’s half of Salt and says she didn’t tell Levi because she knew he’d offer her the money. She goes to pour him a glass of wine, at the same time that Remi is doing it for Bree at their house. Bree worries about having to face a tribunal. Remi asks if she’s spoken to her counsellor, who could speak up for her. Bree replies that she lied about seeing a counsellor to get him off her back, before heading to bed.

At Salt, Cash and Michelle are sitting down to eat. Michelle asks what it was he wanted to talk about. Cash says Eden thought he was making her uncomfortable. Michelle says she needs to get home to her parents. Cash practically begs her not to make a decision now. Meanwhile, Levi gets a phone call and tells the person on the other end that he stands by what he said. He tells Mackenzie that he’s done something that he didn’t want to do and which might cost him a friendship: Reporting a colleague for professional misconduct.

Next morning, Leah arrives home and Justin tells her that Theo went to work early. He got her text about spending the night at Alf’s but didn’t respond to it. Leah wants to talk and apologises that she took things as far as she did. Justin is still upset about how easily she believed Eric and how she didn’t think he’d resist Claudia.

Eden and Remi are sat outside the Lyrik house, discussing her reaching out to Cash. Bree appears and tells Eden that Michelle’s out the front looking for her. Remi tries to talk to Bree but she wants to get to work…until she gets a phone call from the hospital saying she’s suspended. Round the front of the house, Cash sees Eden and Michelle hugging. Michelle approaches him and Cash tries to get her to come for coffee but she says she’s there to say goodbye: Felicity gave her a chance to live and she’d want Cash to do the same. Cash accepts it. They hug before Michelle gets in a car which drives off.

Justin is packing a bag despite Leah’s protests. He tells her that he didn’t tell her about Claudia because he knew she’d lose her temper and agrees that neither of them trust each other. He isn’t sure where he’s going but says she needed time alone and now he does too. Meanwhile, Eden goes round to check on Cash. He admits that she was right and that he needs to move on, confirming that he’s spoken to his boss about going back to work. Eden asks if there’s anything else he wants to discuss and he says no. Eden says they should all move on then.

Remi and Bree are at Salt but Remi doesn’t want to be there given the chance of Levi turning up. Bree says she was careful and Levi was reckless and he didn’t like her calling him out on it. Sure enough, Mackenzie and Levi turn up. Remi stops Bree approaching Levi, saying it won’t look good in front of a tribunal, and convinces her to leave without saying anything.

Outside, they run into Alf and Marilyn. There’s a rather awkward conversation about how Alf is getting on. Once Alf’s out of earshot, Bree stops Marilyn and says she’s been suspended and is in front of a tribunal. Marilyn just says “Good.” Remi says Bree shouldn’t have done that but Bree just decides to go back and have it out with Levi. Remi says she’s on her own, which she’s fine with.

Back in Salt, Levi is telling Mackenzie he understands her not wanting his money. Bree comes in and has a go at him for trying to destroy her career. Levi says Alf’s life was at risk and he didn’t interrupt her, she wasn’t even in the room. Bree continues to accuse him of sabotaging her. Mackenzie steps in and tells Bree to get out, before guessing she’s the colleague Levi reported.

Alf and Marilyn are walking by the beach. Marilyn explains how Alf was getting worse and Bree just stood there paralysed before walking out. She says Levi saved him and he nearly died.
