Extended Summary

Theo runs into Kirby near the beach and says he knows she doesn’t care but asks if she knows where Valerie is. Kirby hasn’t seen her and is frustrated that Theo still cares. Theo says Valerie doesn’t know what’s happened and didn’t come home last night and is worried about her. Meanwhile, Eden places a hot drink on the table and tells Levi it isn’t for him. Levi tries to convince her that getting back in touch with her has meant the world to him but Eden is annoyed at all the lies he told and the number of times he happened to be just close by when she called him, as well as getting her to lie to Imogen.

Theo runs into Remi, who has just arrived back in town, outside the surf club. Remi says he thinks the set list at the wedding could work at Salt. Theo heads off as Kirby appears and tells Remi that, while he was off with a movie starlet, the rest of them got arrested for drug possession for Theo’s drugs, and his guitar and the rest of their equipment got impounded. She sarcastically asks how his trip was.

Valerie arrives back at the Morgan house and looks around. Theo arrives a moment later and wonders if she got any of his messages. Valerie says she didn’t want to hear any more bad news after Justin freaked out. As she continues to look around, Theo tells her that his guitar case isn’t there: It’s at the police impound.

At Salt, Felicity tries to tell Mackenzie she can go. Mackenzie refuses to leave her place of business and Felicity refuses to be cool with what Mackenzie’s done. Mackenzie says Felicity blew up her own marriage. Felicity retorts that at least she didn’t blow up somebody else’s. Meanwhile, Theo tells Valerie he tried to keep Eden and Kirby out of it but they’re all up in court. He asks how the pills came to be in his guitar case when he told her to get rid of them. Valerie says they might have needed them but Theo thinks it was her that might have needed them and they’re why she came back. Valerie admits partly but insists she’s mostly back because she missed him.

Levi tries to get Eden to not shut him out. Eden says she’s wondering what to do when his wife calls, because Imogen doesn’t know where he is. Levi insists he’ll sort it. Cash turns up and Levi quickly realises he knows. Eden confirms she told him because he’s her boyfriend and she trusts him. Remi and Kirby arrive back and it is quickly established that Eden and Kirby were arrested (which is news to Cash) and Levi has been having an affair with Mackenzie (which is news to Kirby and Remi). Eden heads outside. Levi goes to follow but Cash blocks his path, saying he had one chance and he blew it. Levi leaves.

Soon after, Kirby and Remi are walking by the beach. Remi notes he never saw it coming but probably should have done since Eden always said Levi was a jerk. He questions Kirby about not telling him about the arrest or about all the problems going on with Theo. Kirby thinks they should still support Theo and says she’s working on getting their equipment back.

Mackenzie and Felicity continue their tense shift. Mackenzie tries saying she never wanted to be with a married man but it’s more complicated than Felicity thinks. Levi turns up and Mackenzie says she invited him. Felicity walks away, annoyed. Levi suggests to Mackenzie that they stop trying to make people understand and just go home.

Valerie tells Theo she spent the night in her car. Theo still thinks he can talk Justin round. He says he hasn’t told Leah and Justin yet because he didn’t want to spoil their honeymoon. Kirby arrives and is surprised to see Valerie there. She says they need to get their equipment back.

Levi and Mackenzie arrive back at the farm house. Levi notes he’s been so focused on Eden and Imogen’s reactions he didn’t think about the fact this was her home turf. Mackenzie says not to worry about the consequences for her. Levi says he loves her and Mackenzie reciprocates. Meanwhile, Remi arrives home and Cash tells him Eden’s in the bathroom. They start to discuss her and she calls out that she knows they’re talking about her. Cash asks about Stevie and Remi says she got the part and has a media event that afternoon to announce it. Cash is shocked that she’s appearing in public. Levi arrives and Eden appears as well. Levi tells her to stop Felicity giving Mackenzie a hard time, saying it’s between him and Imogen.

Theo finishes a phone call to the police and tells Kirby and Valerie that since the van is registered to Justin he will have to collect it. Kirby says to call Justin. Theo insists they wait until he comes back from honeymoon and Kirby agrees. Valerie offers to go and get some food. She hovers until Theo gives her his card. Kirby comments on the fact they’re still together. Theo says Kirby’s said her piece.

At the Lyrik house, Felicity arrives to find Eden, Cash and Remi all there. Cash tells her what Levi said and Felicity says she threw him out of Salt. Eden admits that Levi has a point: It’s up to him to tell Imogen and they need to let him and Mackenzie clear up their own mess, although she’s not sure what to do after he’s told her. She asks Cash if she can go back to his while Remi and Felcity go for a drink.

Levi is packing his bag. Mackenzie wishes he didn’t have to leave but Levi wants to be there when Imogen gets back from conference, at which point he’ll tell her. Mackenzie asks what if Imogen forgives him and wants to work things out. Levi says nothing will make him change his mind. Meanwhile, Cash and Eden arrive back at his place. Cash admits his meeting in the city was a waste of time: Everyone agrees Stevie’s in danger but they can’t force her to rehire them. He gets a notification of a video Stevie’s just posted, in which she advertises the media event to launch the film. Cash is frustrated that she’s just told everyone where she is. Eden realises he wants to go and sends him off.

Kirby is waiting downstairs at the surf club as Valerie appears with a pizza. Kirby wants to talk to her alone, saying Theo would do anything for her. Valerie insists she’s the same but Kirby says he was charged because of her drugs and asks if she genuinely cares about him at all. Valerie doesn’t answer. Meanwhile, Stevie is telling someone she’s looking forward to not having to be covered in fake blood. Cash appears and tells her this isn’t smart. Stevie tells him he’s welcome to stay for a drink but he’s not working. Despite this, Cash continues to look about the place.
