Extended Summary

Outside the surf club, Remi wonders where Felicity went. Kirby suggests he focus on the contract. Theo says it’s a guaranteed twelve months. Remi thanks Justin for organising it and he and Kirby fantasise about studios and recording contracts. Justin reminds them they need to get Eden on board and suggests he go round and talk to her. Remi quickly says he’ll do it. Justin heads off for a surf. Tane approaches, on the phone to Nikau. Seeing Theo, Kirby and Remi, he asks what they’re doing today.

At Lyrik’s house, Felicity is tearing strips off Eden, saying she was supposed to be looking after Cash. Cash protests and Felicity asks if it started before or after he kissed Rose. Eden says Felicity’s making too much of it. Cash ends up dragging Felicity away. Tane is looking at a ring as Cash and Felicity arrive back. Cash insists it’s different this time as he doesn’t have feelings for Eden. He stops Felicity going back over there and storms into his room. Tane asks Felicity what’s going on.

Remi, Theo and Kirby arrive back at the house. Remi asks Eden how she is and explains his hangover explanation. Theo tells her about the contract. Eden refuses to sign until she’s read it and Kirby says she could have done if she’d turned up for the meeting. She also reveals that they’ve been hired to play at a party and Tane’s asking Felicity to marry him. Eden just walks out. Remi follows her to her room and she explains about Felicity walking in on her and Cash. Remi asks if she’s thought of putting a lock on the door. Eden realises he knew Felicity was coming and says Felicity thinks she’s using Cash. Remi knows she isn’t. Eden asks him to hug her.

Down on the beach, Justin, Theo and Kirby discuss the proposal plan. Justin notes Leah would hate it if he proposed to her in public…or at all. Theo asks if they can use the house to rehearse. Justin says it’s fine, since Leah’s working. They tell him there’s a problem with Eden. Back at the Parata house, Felicity tries to stop Cash going to work so they can talk. Cash says he was the one that started things with Eden. He leaves. Tane suggests Felicity leave him to it. Felicity thinks Cash is making terrible choices.

Remi tells Eden she needs to talk to Felicity, suggesting she’s calmed down by now. Eden says Felicity trusted her to look after Cash. Remi suggests cutting Cash loose. Eden says she’s tried that but can’t get him out of her head. She gets a call from Cash but doesn’t answer it, saying she needs to get her head straight.

At the police station, Cash leaves Eden a message apologising for before. Tane turns up and says Cash and Eden is none of his business. He explains he wants to ask Felicity to marry him and asks if Cash is okay with it. Cash says Felicity loves Tane and he makes her happy, so yes. Tane says he’s doing it later today and wants Cash to be there, and also wants him to make things up with Felicity first. Cash agrees and wishes him luck spending the rest of his life with her.

At the Morgan house, Justin asks Theo and Kirby if they’ve heard from Remi about Eden. Kirby says welcome to her world. Theo suggests playing “Without a Doubt”. Justin and Kirby both think it needs to be something special. Theo suggests the song they’ve been working on and Kirby agrees. Meanwhile, Cash returns home and apologises to Felicity but insists she doesn’t need to worry about him. Felicity is worried this will tear him apart but Cash says he knows what he’s doing and doesn’t need protecting. Felicity accepts it but says forgiving him doesn’t mean she forgives Eden.

Eden and Remi walk on the beach. Eden has heard Cash’s voicemail and worries he’s going to shut things down. Seeing Felicity ahead, Remi encourages Eden to go and talk to her. Eden apologises but Felicity isn’t in the mood, saying hurting people is what Eden does. Remi tries to intercede but Felicity says they’re done.

Back at the house, Tane is on the phone to Nikau again, saying the champagne is on ice outside for him to pick up. He looks at the ring again, then at a photo of himself with his brothers and Nikau. Felicity returns and confirms she and Cash talked but also says she told Eden what she thought of her and their friendship’s over.

Theo and Kirby finish their run-through of the song. Theo wishes they’d been able to do it with Remi and Eden but Kirby thinks they’ve got it. Justin comes back in and asks why they’re still there. He says to pass on his and Leah’s best wishes to the happy couple. Theo suggests he could come too but Justin doesn’t want to spoil the moment. At the Parata house, Felicity is insisting to Tane that she doesn’t need Eden. Tane convinces her Cash will be all right and tells her to go and get changed, explaining he’s taking her out.

Back at the house, Remi tries to convince Eden to turn up, both for the band and for Flick. Eden doesn’t think Felicity will forgive her and worries she’ll ruin it for them if she’s there. Remi asks if she’s avoiding Cash. Kirby and Theo turn up but Eden says they’ll have to play without her and goes to her room. Kirby says she and Theo will pack up the van but they’re not going without Eden. Remi goes to talk to her but she shuts the door on him.

Felicity returns from getting changed and asks Tane if she should wear flats or heels. Tane points to the flats. Felicity says the problem is Cash believes in true love. Tane asks if she does. Felicity gives a small smile and says she’s with him. Tane says he wants her to know how much he loves her and she’ll have to come with him to find out what’s going on.

Cash is on the phone to Nikau making arrangements as he prepares to leave the police station. Remi turns up and says Cash doesn’t understand what’s going on with Eden. He says Eden is falling for Cash and that’s a big thing for her.
