Extended Summary

The bikies lead Tane inside and Tex comments on him no longer having a sling. Tane says people are asking questions about Genevieve. Tex doesn’t think it’s a problem. Tane keeps getting calls from Nikau. He says he’ll take care of it but ends up turning the phone off and surrendering it to Tex, who throws it onto a table.

Outside the surf club, Nikau and Felicity check in with each other on their search for Tane. They ask Dean if he’s seen him without giving him any details. John tries to get Nikau to help him with the rosters but Nikau says later and heads off. John wonders if he’s missing Bella and Dean tells him about Nikau dumping her.

Inside, Nikau tells Felicity that no-one’s seen Tane at the gym and Felicity says he’s not upstairs. She wonders if they should tell Rose but Nikau thinks involving the police will get Tane into more trouble. They clam up as John and Dean come past and Nikau decides to go home. He passes Cash (in plain clothes) and another police officer. Cash tells Felicity she needs to come down the station. She refuses and pushes him away, so he arrests her for assaulting a police officer. John and Dean look on bewildered and John tells Dean about the bikies outside the Paratas’. Cash drags a protesting Felicity to the police station and puts her in a cell. A female officer, on the phone, says someone’s asking where Cash is. He says he’s on his way.

At the Parata house, Nikau leaves another frustrated phone message for Tane. Dean turns up and tells Nikau about Cash arresting Felicity. He tries asking about Tane, saying Ari would want him to help, but Nikau insists they don’t need his help. After Dean’s gone, Nikau checks a Find My Phone app and finds Tane’s location.

Cash goes to an unmarked van where a police surveillance unit are set up. Rose is surprised to see him but he says he needs a distraction and Jasmine isn’t coming back, shutting down further conversation. They listen in to Tane’s conversation as he says he needs to know what the bikers are doing in order to cover for them. Tex says it’s none of his business. Tane suggests someone from the tax office could show up. Marty asks if he’s done something stupid and he insists he’s just making sure nothing goes wrong now he’s mixed up in it. Tane asks how often Genevieve’s going to be at the gym and how much money will be put through. Before anyone can answer, Nikau gets dragged in. Rose tells Cash this wasn’t part of the plan. Tex describes him as Tane’s mini-me and Marty seems pleased to have another Parata there.

The female officer checks on Felicity who bitterly asks for the key to the cell. She wonders why she hasn’t been interviewed or fingerprinted and guesses something is going on. Dean turns up and he and the officer, Constable Jo Devlin, recognise each other. Dean wonders how she got out of Mangrove River and then asks to see Felicity. Jo reluctantly gives him five minutes and he heads on through. He asks Felicity what’s going on and she tells him about Ari and the bikies’ money.

Tane scolds Nikau for following him, telling him to go home. Marty says there’s no need for him to go and insists he stick around. Rose and Cash worry. Cash wants to call it but both Rose and the tech guy insist on carrying on. Tane tries to bring the conversation back round to business.

Dean is on the phone to Nugget, asking him to investigate the bikers, but all he knows about them is Tex and the fact they’re not from Mangrove River. He tries to interrogate John about the bikies but John doesn’t know anything more and worries about Dean starting a gang war with them. Back at the hideout, Marty asks Nikau about himself, deflecting Tane’s attempts to get the conversation back on track. Tex says Nikau’s a lifeguard. Marty and Tex wonder why Tane’s nervous. Cash worries that Tane isn’t getting anywhere but Rose thinks Marty’s testing him. They listen as Marty and Tex discuss Rose, with Tex saying he thought she’d be more of a challenge and Marty commenting on her liking rough and tumble in the bedroom.

Dean returns to the police station and convinces Devlin to let him in to see Felicity again on the pretext of bringing her food. Felicity worries something’s happened to Tane but Dean thinks they’d know if that was the case. Devlin calls him away. Dean thinks she’s baby-sitting and Devlin threatens to lock him up. Felicity knows she’s just doing what Cash asked and tells Dean to go.

Tane asks Marty for details of the fake members so he can cover when Genevieve isn’t there. Nikau wants to go. With some pushing from Marty, Tane takes a hard line with him, telling him to show respect. Rose thinks Marty is just playing games and laments to Cash how she couldn’t see what Tex was like. Cash says he didn’t know what was going on with Jasmine: She said that she couldn’t leave Robbo’s family and Cash notes she loved Robbo’s memory more than him. The tech guys calls them over as Marty says Genevieve will be flushing $2000 a week through fake members. The police move in, with cars heading for the yard. Cash charges out of the van, ignoring Rose’s shout to put on a protective vest.

One of the gang sees the police arrive and shouts out a warning. Tane denies being involved. Some of the bikers try to rude out but are stopped at the gates by armed police, who begin arresting everyone in sight, including Nikau and Tane. Marty and Tex try to make a run for it. Rose aims a gun at Marty and gets him to stop. Tex steps in between them and Rose and Cash arrest him but Marty runs off in the confusion. Cash chases after him.

As they’re lined up with the others, Nikau is worried about what Tane’s done. Tane says he’ll let them know Nikau had nothing to do with it. Tex continues to taunt Rose, as they hear gunshots. Rose says to call an ambulance and dashes in that direction with two other officers. They find Cash with wounds to the shoulder and abdomen and Marty dead.
