Extended Summary

Jasmine is going for a run, while Cash is stood outside his caravan. He texts her asking if she’s free tonight and Jasmine texts back with a thumbs up. They both smile. Later, Jasmine runs into Felicity outside the surf club. Felicity addresses her as “girlfriend”, then promises not to call her that again. She suggests that they do something together tonight. Jasmine says she has plans and suggests another night. Felicity says she can usually make her own fun anyway.

Leah sits with John at the Diner and tries to get him to make things up with Justin. John is annoyed that Justin presents John’s ideas as his own. Leah says John can’t tell Justin how to run the garage and she and Irene wouldn’t want a landlord telling them how to do the menu. John says that he was just trying to help them out. Leah follows Justin home and tries to make the same arguments to him, saying he can’t make structural changes without talking to John. Justin however decides to try and outbid John for the garage, even though he’s already exchanged contracts.

Tori goes looking for Logan to do his obs but finds his bed empty. She discovers him coming out of a lift and he says he was checking on Maria. He claims to have done his own obs and is equal on both sides, getting her to hold his hands to demonstate then, seeing Christian behind her, jokingly pretending it’s a romantic overture. Tori shows him back into bed. Christian notes Logan’s going crazy cooped up in there. Tori says she’s the one going crazy. Meanwhile, Jasmine is waiting at Salt. Cash turns up bang on time, saying he expected her to be late again. Jasmine shows him back onto the balcony, where a table has been set up for them.

Tori and Christian are about to leave off work, with Tori saying they’ll get Marilyn to meet them with Grace at the Diner so they can get something to eat there. Logan appears and rather specifically (and insincerely) promises not to leave the hospital as soon as Tori isn’t watching him. Christian convinces Tori to let Logan come home with them so they can keep an eye on him. Meanwhile, Justin is having a rather intractable phone conversation and tells Leah that the sale can’t be stopped. Despite her attempts to calm him down, he decides to go and confront John. They briefly encounter Tori, Christian and Logan as they arrive home with Grace. Logan goes for a shower, saying he and Christian can play poker afterwards.

Jasmine comments to Cash that she was expecting Felicity to turn up and interrupt the date. Cash notes Jasmine’s getting a handle on her. Jasmine says it must have been hard to lose their parents young. Cash doesn’t seem keen to talk about it but does suggest they go for a walk. Downstairs, John and Justin are having a fierce argument which Leah is trying to referee. Stumbling upon it, Cash tells Jasmine he’ll have to take a rain check on their walk. Leah initially says they don’t need help then, as the argument continues and John threatens to charge Justin with harassment, tells Cash they’re all his. Cash decides to walk John home.

Christian and Logan are playing cards for peanuts. Christian predicts Logan is bluffing and goes all-in but Logan beats him with a royal flush. Tori appears and asks if they know what time it is. They admit it’s later than they thought it was. Grace starts crying and Christian goes to settle her. Logan tells Tori not to blame Christian and Tori says she doesn’t. Next morning, Leah gives John a breakfast on the house at the Diner. Justin appears, having got a note from Leah to meet him there. He and John realise they’ve been set up and try to leave but Leah insists they sit down and sort things.

When Tori and Christian get up with Grace, they find Logan has already arranged coffee and scrambled eggs for breakfast, having been up at sunrise. He adds that he’s already eaten, cleaned up and fed the dog. He tries to go but Tori insists on examining him first. Later, the three of them are walking with Grace’s pram near the beach. Tori tells Logan he can’t go back to work since a second head injury could cause brain damage. Logan appears to agree, then gets in a waiting MRU vehicle. He and Christian arrange drinks on Friday.

Leah tries to get John and Justin to see each other’s point of view, saying Susie put them in this situation. John says he was only trying to help them and Justin accuses him of making a grab for power. Leah tells them not to let Susie win. Justin says he’s sorry for some of the things he said and John admits he went overboard as well. They shake hands. Later, Justin tells Leah that he went too far trying to make the business a success and is glad the plans came to nothing. At the counter, Jasmine is on the phone to Irene chatting about the date and tells her to enjoy the big city. She repeats her concerns to Leah about things going slowly. She then runs into Cash who suggests they take that walk now.

Jasmine and Cash wander along the pier. Jasmine says she understands he has trouble talking about his past and hopes he’ll be able to talk to her on their sixth or tenth date. They go to kiss but then he has a phone call from Roo and says he’ll meet her there. He invites Jasmine to come with him. At the caravan park, Felicity is standing outside the van in her underwear, watching with some enjoyment as two men fight, smashing tables and her barbecue. Cash and Jasmine arrive and Cash unsuccessfully tries to split them up. Felicity offers a free breakfast to the winner, before throwing a bucket of water over them. She tells them that Cash is a cop and they quickly go their separate ways. Noting it was fun, Felicity goes back into her van.
