Extended Summary

Robbo and Jasmine are driving back to town. Jasmine thinks the session wasn’t so bad and liked Aiden but Robbo is quiet. He eventually says he’s tired and accepts that he agreed to go into the session. Jasmine asks if he wants to talk about it but he says that he needs some time alone to clear his head. Jasmine agrees that she should probably do the same. At Salt, Alf and Martha are looking at maps with Alf unimpressed by Martha showing him a route from her place out into the desert. Roo joins them as Martha says Alf doesn’t always have to go fishing and Alf retorts that if he doesn’t she won’t have free time to do painting.

Mason gets off the phone with his lawyer who he tells Tori is across the case. He is hoping he can get off and get the internship but Tori stresses he’s still facing criminal charges. Leah, Justin, Raffy and Ryder arrive home; Raffy thought she was having a seizure at school but it was a false alarm. Raffy says she felt woozy in class and couldn’t concentrate. She says her symptoms have been getting worse over the last week. Mason says that’s since she stopped taking the oil. Tori takes him into the bathroom and tells him not to put ideas in Raffy’s head. Mason accuses her of ignoring the facts. The others can hear; Leah asks Ryder if he knows what’s going on but Ryder says it’s not his place to tell her. Raffy bursts in on the argument and tells Tori it’s all her fault for not letting her go on the trial. Tori says it’s Mason’s fault he got caught. Justin steps in, saying someone needs to go out for some air. Tori goes, taking Leah with her. Justin reassures Raffy.

Jasmine arrives at the Diner and tells Irene her counselling session went well. Irene asks about Robbo and is surprised when Jasmine says he went into the session. She says it helped her understand him. Irene hopes she got her money’s worth. Jasmine thinks it helped but at that moment Robbo is up in the flat looking tortured. He fiddles with Aiden’s card before putting it down and staring out the window.

Tori and Leah are sat outside the Diner. Tori wonders why she’s the bad guy when Mason’s the one that broke the law. Leah is confused and Tori is surprised Justin didn’t fill her in. She explains about the illegal trial and that Mason’s on a dealing charge and could face jail. Back at the house, Mason apologises to Raffy for getting caught but Justin says they couldn’t have carried on the way they were anyway. Mason has to go meet his lawyer so Justin says he’ll stay with Raffy. Ryder offers to do it but Justin insists he goes back to school and gets Mason to drop him off. He apologises to Raffy for her being caught in the middle and hugs her.

Roo and Martha are on the beach. Martha is set up to do a painting and invites Roo to join her but Roo says she has some marking, She moves away and joins Irene by the Diner, where Irene comments that Martha seems like a permanent fixture. Roo recalls when she was younger she used to dream of having family holidays with her parents. Irene says now she can. Meanwhile, Leah and Tori are walking and pass Robbo who is in a rather abrupt mood. Tori follows him, telling him not to make a pregnant lady run. Robbo bluntly asks if she’s actually complaining about being pregnant before saying it’s not her problem.

Jasmine finds Robbo at the surf club, saying she was just checking in with him and suggesting they have a drink and a talk. Robbo tells her to give him half an hour. Meanwhile, Justin and Raffy are relaxing with popcorn and a movie. Leah and Tori arrive back. Tori apologises for upsetting Raffy and says she’s just trying to protect her. Raffy insists the oil was helping her. Tori suggests she might be getting ill simply because of the idea but Raffy storms out. Justin complains about Tori ending Raffy’s relaxed mood. Tori says Raffy needs to face up to her epilepsy instead of being mollycoddled, going out again. Justin ironically welcomes Leah to the Morgans.

Tori finds Jasmine in Salt and wonders about Robbo’s mood earlier. Jasmine tells her about him coming into the counselling session and says it gave her some perspective on him. Tori leaves when Robbo turns up and Jasmine offers to get the drinks in. At the Diner, Irene and Martha chat about the latter’s trip with Alf. Martha comments that he’s even more set in his ways than she is and Irene agrees that he never changes his sandwich filling. Roo comes in and suggests to Martha that the two of them and Alf go to an art exhibition next week. Martha explains that she’s going home tomorrow. Both Irene and Roo are confused.

Leah asks Justin about not telling her about Mason. Justin says it felt like a family thing. Leah points out he told her things when they were friends but Justin says this wasn’t like Brody or Tori, it was something illegal. Mason returns home and says his lawyer says he can take a guilty plea for possession or plead he’s innocent on the grounds of medical necessity. He says other families have done it and still been convicted, it depends on the judge. It would also mean getting Raffy involved and facing further charges. At Salt, Jasmine brings Robbo his drink. She says she never understood her father’s grief and that she always thought her lie about the pregnancy was something they could get past. She wants to get back together. Robbo says today has shown him they both have problems and he needs to sort his out: He makes it clear he loves but says he has to do it on his own. Jasmine understands but isn’t happy. Robbo promises he’s not going anywhere.

Roo finds Alf at the surf club and tells him he needs to fix whatever he’s done that is making Martha leave. Alf says Martha was always going to leave: They’re together in a way but he doesn’t want to leave Summer Bay and she doesn’t want to leave her place. Roo doesn’t look happy. Meanwhile, Raffy and Ryder are walking near the beach. Raffy is frustrated at losing the trial with Mason and Tori not letting her go on the real one. Ryder offers to get her a milkshake and she asks for chocolate, banana, ice cream and sprinkles. After Ryder has gone, she looks worried and in pain.

Mason says he’s leaning towards the medical plea. Tori, who has just joined them, isn’t happy about Raffy being dragged into it and says the stress could bring on a seizure, reiterating that he crossed a line. Justin agrees that it was risky and Mason didn’t know if it would work. Leah replies that it did work and she’d have done the same thing to help one of her family. Mason thanks her, wishing his family felt the same. Meanwhile, Ryder returns to Raffy to find her on the ground fitting. He places his jacket under her head but she fails to come round afterwards. He finds his phone battery is dead and calls out for help.
