Mason passes his exams and the Morgans throw a celebratory BBQ. Tori is distressed over Robbo’s choice to stop IVF and makes a decision.

Extended Summary

Mason is fretting about his exam results as Justin gets him to help set the table: The results are due tomorrow. Tori comes home and tells them Robbo’s changed his mind about the IVF. Justin hugs her. Meanwhile, Jasmine finds Robbo alone at the flat. He tells her he talked to Tori. He thinks it was the right call but hard on Tori, although it’s not the end of the road for her. He notes now he can focus on his and Jasmine’s relationship.

Justin and Mason do their best to support Tori as she laments how everything she and Robbo went through has been for nothing. They suggest she could find another donor but, with the length of the list, Tori thinks this was her last shot. At Salt, Alf, Leah and Roo have finished a meal and briefly discuss how things have settled with Ryder and everyone at school. They compliment Brody on the beef carpaccio but he gives the credit to Simone who they recognise as the auction winner. Ziggy arrives and Brody is surprised to realise how late it is, sending Simone home. Ziggy asks if he can go home too and they kiss.

Next morning, Brody and Ziggy are curled up in bed. Brody comments on how good last night was and Ziggy says it doesn’t need to be a special occasion. Justin interrupts them, telling them to get dressed because they need to support Mason. Up at the house, Mason is obsessively refreshing the page as Justin, Brody and Ziggy join him and Tori. They try to get him to be patient but then he gets an error message and Ziggy realises the site has crashed. Tori gives him some space and Justin follows her outside.

At the Diner, Jasmine tells Irene and Leah about Robbo stopping the IVF. Both are sympathetic towards Tori, especially Leah, but accept Jasmine’s assertion that Robbo had to do what was right for him. Leah wonders if Robbo will change his mind but Jasmine doesn’t think so. Outside the Morgan house, Justin tries to make small talk with Tori about Mason but she can’t think of anything but the IVF. She doesn’t understand why Robbo has suddenly changed his mind and thinks he isn’t thinking straight. Justin says she needs to accept his decision.

Mason is unable to get through to uni on the phone since it’s engaged. Ziggy says the site’s back up and Brody calls Justin and Tori back in. Mason says he passed, although he didn’t do as well as he hoped, and celebrates being a doctor. They decide to have a family barbecue to celebrate. Justin, Brody, Mason and Ziggy head to Salt. Mason tells Justin he wants to invite some more people – specifically Willow, Robbo and Jasmine – but wonders if it would be too awkward. Justin thinks it will be okay. Simone tells Brody she’s mastered the pomegramate martini. Brody tells her he’ll be out for the day so she can shadow Frank, the sous chef. Ziggy takes the opportunity to suggest Simone should shadow a different person every day and Brody agrees.

Mason finds Robbo and Jasmine in the gym and they tell him Willow is at the orientation for her PT course. Mason invites them to the barbecue, thanking Robbo for giving him time off to study. Robbo says he has to work but Mason has already arranged for Mike to cover so they reluctantly agree. At the Diner, Leah commiserates with Tori over Robbo’s decision. Mason arrives and Leah and Irene congratulate him. Mason invites Leah to the barbecue, since she helped him when he was stressed, and Irene agrees she can go. They pass Alf and Roo, who add their congratulations. Roo gets a text and reminds Alf she applied last year to a teaching placement in the Kimberley: Someone has dropped out and they’ve offered it to her.

Simone is finishing off a cake in the kitchen at Salt. Brody phones her and she checks a bag, saying she’ll bring them over once she’s finished. Meanwhile, Mason, Robbo, Jasmine and Leah all join Justin, Brody, Tori and Ziggy in the garden of the Morgan house. Jasmine suggests to Robbo that it’s a chance to clear the air but Tori avoids him. Justin notes she’s gutted. Jasmine tries to talk to Tori but admits she doesn’t think Robbo will change his mind. Tori heads inside. Simone turns up with the cake and the steaks that Brody forgot. To Ziggy’s frustration, Brody asks Simone to stay since there’s not much on at work.

Inside, Tori is on the phone, arranging a date for the implantation. Justin comes in and wonders what she’s doing. She tells him she’s going to go through with the IVF on her own. Justin thinks it’s wrong but Tori says legally Robbo waived all rights to the embryo. She says it was Robbo’s idea that he be involved with the baby: She’s happy to be a single mother. Outside, Ziggy complains to Jasmine about Simone hanging off Brody. She then looks at Mason chatting about his first placement to Justin and Robbo and has an idea.

Alf and Roo are on the beach. Roo doesn’t think she can go since she can’t leave Ryder again but Alf suggests she talk to him and see what he thinks. Back at the party, Justin tries to talk to Tori but she says if the implantation works she’ll tell Robbo she found another donor. Leah wonders if she should talk to her; Justin thinks it’s not the right time but thanks her for being a good friend. Ziggy introduces Mason to Simone and leaves them to talk, while Robbo and Jasmine take their leave. After an awkward start, Mason and Simone are soon talking freely although Brody seems to be the main topic. Mason points out the flat where he and Ziggy live. Simone goes inside, ostensibly to use the toilet, and looks at their wedding photo and Brody’s chef whites. Brody comes in as she’s examining the outfit and cheerily asks what she’s doing. Simone looks guilty.
