Extended Summary

Reeling from seeing Justin in the arms of another women, Scarlett once in the caravan alone lets herself break down, heartbroken. At the bait shop, Justin comes by to talk to Scarlett who clearly doesn’t want to see him. Angry she deflects the situation and tells him not to bother. Starting to get angry himself Justin says it was her who wanted to just be friends. Looking out for Scarlett, Alf talks to Justin forcing him to man up and confront Scarlett about their situation. However when he does Scarlett reveals that it hurts to be around him and that it hurts too much. Is their friendship over for good?

At the hospital, Raffy is nervous over the slow progress that Mason is making; cheering up when she hears that Brody is coming home soon. Mason and Tori are in good spirits. The next morning while going for a run Justin runs into Tori who tease him about his mystery sleepover who in turn offers to spend the day with Mason. Later when Justin visits Mason he too sees the process that Mason has made, who is eager to speed the process alone and is getting frustrated by his slow progress. Mason tells Justin that he needs to push through and improve because he’s scared if he stops that will be it. Tori checks up on Raffy with Marilyn and John before running into Scarlett at the diner and thinking she is who Justin was with puts her foot in her mouth. When checking in with Mason and Justin later, tells Justin about her encounter with Scarlett. Whilst they talk outside Mason wanting to speed up his recovery decides to try standing by himself but isn’t able to and falls onto the floor. Hearing his screams Tori and Justin run in and with the help from nurses manage to lift him back into the bed. Tori furious reprimands him and orders an emergency x-ray as he begins to panic saying that his pins and needles have retuned. Mason’s scans come back clear seeing how tired she is Justin offers to hold the fort and tells Tori to take some much needed rest. Before she leaves, she checks in with Mason who is at his breaking point and just wants to be alone. Mason reveals his hate of Brody when Justin and Raffy visit him, that he blames him for his condition and doesn’t want to see him ever again yelling at Justin and Raffy who runs out in tears.

At the Astoni’s, Maggie has noticed Coco’s new affinity for exercise and offers to buy her some new running shoes and is further surprised when Coco makes herself a green smoothie. Stressed when a teacher calls in sick, a desperate Maggie agrees to let Roo take the class even though she isn’t fully qualified. Before class, Coco reprimands Raffy about eating a muesli bar as they are full of sugar although Raffy doesn’t seem to mind. Jennifer who overhears their conversation can’t help but make a remark which Raffy rebuts, whilst Coco doesn’t say anything. Raffy reminds her that she is allowed to defend herself. Roo’s first day of teaching isn’t going as well as she hoped especially once she pairs Jennifer and Coco together making both girls unhappy. The girls are not able to work together with Jennifer dumping all the work on Coco and continuously putting her down. Roo who can’t help but notice the signs asks Coco if there is anything wrong which she denies; worried she can’t help but mention it to Maggie. During lunch, Coco is bullied by Jennifer and her friends outside the diner as they taunt her about being a poser and how no one likes her. Things escalate when Coco pushes Jennifer and they get into a full on fight with Coco refusing to get off Jennifer as she yells at her. Maggie tries to force the girls into confessing how the situation started but with no one coming forward she is forced to suspend both girls for the rest of the week from school.
