Extended Summary

The things that were stolen from Irene’s were found including the ring. Irene took the ring and threw it in the ocean with Hayley chasing after her screaming, “NO, Dad wanted you to have that!!”
Will read his Best Man’s speech to Ken’s grave. It began…”My father doesn’t talk a lot, but what he says makes a lot of sense…he knows how to listen, I guess that is why he has big ears…. he is the best man that I have ever met in my life…”

Dani and Will finally got together.

Nick went to see Kirsty who had gone out so Jade told him he could stay and wait for her. Meanwhile, Nick got all upset and Jade comforted him. Kirsty came back later on and they watched a movie. Kirsty tried to get him to talk to her about his Dad but he didn’t want to. Now the war is still on between Kirsty and Jade!

Sally stayed at the DIC to look after Brodie who came back. Sally tried to be the councillor and scared her off and Mitch convinced her to go back. Sally agreed with Mitch and Brodie that she was trying too hard and Brodie ended up staying.

Irene had another nightmare, which woke her in the middle of the night. Nick couldn’t sleep either and he asked her if she was going to send him away, not that his father was dead. Irene told him not to be so stupid and that the kids are all that she has left of Ken.
In the morning, Hayley found Irene searching frantically in the ocean looking for the ring which she had thrown.
