Extended Summary
Blake, Meg, Simon and Sophie are making arrangements for a party at Meg’s place. Sophie and Simon are feeling a bit awkward since Meg is acting so normal even though she is dying.
Fisher speaks to Nick about the fact that Ryan will pose nude for Lucinda’s painting since Nick said no to do the modelling when he found out that it is going to be a nude painting. Nick is feeling confident that Lucinda won’t go through with it. He thinks that Lucinda is just bluffing just to make Nick change his mind about doing the modelling for the painting. Fisher isn’t so sure that Lucinda is bluffing.
Blake, Meg, Simon and Sophie continue making the arrangements for the party.
Nick changes his mind about the painting as he is scared that Lucinda might go ahead with the idea to let Ryan model nude for her. Lucinda tells Nick that she knew that Nick would change his mind eventually so she already told Ryan that Nick would do it instead!
Adam comes into the Diner and speaks to Bobby. He is back from the trip which Marilyn won. He explains that Marilyn got a job in Darwin during their trip so she will stay away for a bit longer.
Adam wants to handle Marilyn’s job at Alf’s store. Alf say no to it since he knows that Adam usually gets into a lot of strife. Adam tries to talk Alf around but Alf ends up nearly kicking Adam out of his store!
Lucinda is about to start painting Nick as a nude model. Nick is feeling a bit scared about taking all his clothes off so he wears shorts instead at first. Later on Lucinda gets him to actually pose nude for her painting. Fisher comes in while she is painting. Nick is lying nude in the sofa but covers himself with a sheet as Fisher walks in.
Blake and Simon go around to invite friends to the party. Sam hears about it and is excited.
The party starts at Meg’s place. Julia, Blake, Meg, Fisher, Bobby, Greg, Nick, Lucinda, Simon and Sophie are there. Sam is there as well and is having a great time. He thought it was a birthday party at first. Meg explains that she is “going away”. Sam is puzzled.
Alf changes his mind and lets Adam work in his store until Marilyn gets back.
After the party, Simon comes into Alf’s store. Alf explains about Fisher’s son Alan who died a few years ago.
Julia, Blake and Meg speak after the party. Meg is happy but is feeling tired. She explains that she wants to see the sun rise one last time (emotional music plays).
