Extended Summary
Steven and Bobby are out cycling for training.
Gary talks to Carly on beach. He says he has not done anything to her. He gets a bit angry when she does not believe him.
Brett, a son of Gordon Macklin, and the father of Roo’s baby, comes to Summer Bay and apologises to Phil, Steven’s uncle. He gets angry at Brett.
Carly cries in Steven’s arms. (Emotional music plays) She’s totally convinced it is Gary who attacked her. Steven and Carly talk about it.
Jeff comes to Stacey’s office and wants her to help to sponsor a “Fun Run” in Summer Bay. Stacey tries to convince Phil to accept Brett’s apology but he won’t.
Brett is feeling miserable and thinks of committing suicide. He walks into the sea to drown himself.
Steven has a go at Gary outside Celia’s store while Ailsa works in it. Steven threatens him with karate but Steven is the one who falls to the ground, since Gary also knows karate.
Stacey finds Brett’s clothes on beach and suspects he might have tried to commit suicide and gets worried.
