Tracey worked on several development projects. In 1998, she developed a drama for Network Ten titled September’s Child with Columbia TriStar. A year later, she developed two series, Sisters in Law and Missing with Sandra Levy at Southern Star Xanadu.
Outside of her writing career, Tracey enjoyed ceramics and dabbled in it recreationally.
Tracey tragically passed away in 2021 whilst rehearsals for her play Killing Katie were underway. It was dedicated to her upon its opening in January 2022.
