Summer Bay High and Reefton Lakes High went head to head in early-2002 to avoid being shut down by the education department and Patricia Morgan was the school principal of Reefton Lakes High. She first appeared angry at Fisher after Sally had talked to the situation to the press and talked down Reefton Lakes.

After relations between the two schools got strained, with the help of Brodie and Ethan, later revealed to be Patricia's son organise a school sports day to help improve relations between the two schools. They also organised a teacher swap with Sally Fletcher going to Reefton Lakes and Kick Johnson coming to Summer Bay. Fisher was less than enamoured with Kick, however Patricia opposed ending the swap early.

When Summer Bay suffered it's bus crash later in the year, Patricia entered a proposal to the department on both schools behalf. However, it wasn't the proposal that both schools had been working on and soon came through the news that Summer Bay was getting closed. Ethan soon uncovered his mother subterfuge and helped Summer Bay's protests against the action.

Later on in the year, Brett Egan returned to the bay and gave Fisher the proposal that had been entered by Patricia and used it against the department. Summer Bay subsequently stayed open.

New look!

We're in the process of creating a brand new look Back to the Bay to freshen things up, clear out the clutter and add some features as we go. Apologies for how long it's taking and how much of the site is looking rather peculiar as a result, but rest assured we're making progress and the new look will be complete within the next few weeks.
