Character Biographies > Jarvis, Mr

In his office Mr Jarvis handed a file to Tom and Pippa and explained that Frank was a very difficult child. Tom asked how he meant and he explained that three arrests by the time he was eight wasn't bad going but that it wasn't surprising considering his background, his father was in and out of jail, his mother an alcoholic.

He asked if Tom and Pippa knew what they were taking on and they explained they never thought it would be easy but Mr Jarvis interupted them. Tom quickly silenced him though by stating that that was why they were there and Pippa added that if there was any more like Frank, they'd be just as happy to take them.

Mr Jarvis suggested that they might find one enough but Tom replied that he would find that he was wrong. Pippa was later seen remarking out loud that it was 'more like five was sufficient Mr Jarvis.'
