So sad, especially as the reports are suggesting he took his own life. Too many men, especially of this age group are being lost this way, I hope anyone who is struggling can find the help they need.

Pretty shocking news, we seem to be losing too many people far too young these days. Condolences to his family. He'll always be remembered as one of the show's icons, even 25 years on from his last appearance.

This is incredibly sad news. He was a fantastic actor and I really enjoyed watching him play Shane in the early years repeats.

We lost Ben Unwin presumably the same way a couple of years ago who was roughly the same age . It's just sad.
