Sal and Curtis do make a good couple, I imagine he would be super-caring towards her and she'd definitely be a rock when he has deal with his diabetic stuff. Well, no man among us could blame Shane. The whole thing started from that point of "What if Angel had died instead and something had happened between Shane and Shannon?", and I decided to throw Sally/Curtis into the mix as well to differentiate it further from what happened on screen. Sal would naturally detect Shannon not being home on account of sharing a room. The Angel thing seems cold-hearted but most likely what Shannon would be saying.
