Wendy also appeared in tv shows as Dad's Army, Are You Being Served, even had a role in two Carry On films - Carry On Matron and Carry On Girls. She lefted Eastenders in 1996 after 22 years in the show playing the actresss of Pauline Fowler. R.I.P Wendy Richard 20 July 1943 - 26 Feb 2009.
