What's the most ridiculous storyline 2008?

Kirsty working as an escort was a very low thing to do!Very close to Martha's storyline + she was fully aware of what she was doing!She deserves a little bit more self respect!

Kirsty. I think it was blatantly done to make the audience hate the character. The writers can't force us to hate someone.

Ric and the fight club. I hated that Noel stole every original thing from the Summer Bay house, losing Sally from it was enough. Plus Noel, like every single other villain this year, was absolute garbage, standing in the dark with evil smiles on the phone talking about how "Ric won't know what hit him". The only decent thing about it was Mattie's very understanding reactions, but that was all blown to hell when they broke up anyway. Noel was a complete weed, Alf seriously could have taken him down, let alone Ric! I don't understand why they were all such pushovers........when he didn't have a gun ofcourse

I don't see why they'd list Kirsty's escort work as 'ridiculous', I think its a very natural character development for someone like her......

Personally i hated the Ric and the fight club storyline, Ric's character was so much better than that.

The Roman Rambo story line was a little bit far fetched Elliot was only a small chap and was on is own how on earth did he get him into the Van and then out of the van once he got to the cliff then to hang him over the edge so he was just hanging all on his own, I cant see it, it just wouldnt happen.

Kirsty and Miles. Kirsty and Kane were very, very much in love and there is no way she would have a relationship with another guy almost immediately her husband (and father of her child) is sent to jail. It's also out of character for Miles to begin a relationship with Kirsty under those circumstances. She's a single mum who, even tho they aren't portraying it on screen, would still be in a very emotional state and therefore very vulnerable.

^ agreed. i was thinking about that earlier. and miles got pissed off / upset when he'd asked kirsty if she still loved kane - yet i bet if anyone asked miles if he still loved his wife, he'd say that he'd always love her... obviously there's a difference in that kirsty could go back to kane but still...
