Ewwwwww You know, effort and time went into the original layout (I think it's purple too ) and I'm sorry if this sounds mean - I'm not in the best of moods - but all you can do is complain, and make it seem as if the original layout was disgusting. Think about it for a minute. I personally really liked the purply theme - it's been my favourite so far, but to be honest, whatever the colour/style of the forum is, I'm sure it'll be great. I'm with Jade (we're obviously on the same wavelength, we both see blues as purples ). Granted, I'm biased as I made the purple skin in the first place, but I did find the comment a bit harsh. You're totally allowed to have your opinion, but constructive critisism is generally better than simply 'Ewwwwww'. ETA: Okay let me change it.
