for starters its none of their business and secondly all Roman has been to martha is a friend and a confident.....not once making a move or even hinting at making one Hes got more class than that and really if Hugo stuffs up their friendship when Martha needs all the support she can get then I hope he gets whats comming to him......selfish twit! what has he got to gain from it???? Of course that's true, but he is playing with fire because he has feelings for her. Precisely because of those feelings he should be keeping well away. What would Martha think if she knew how he felt about her? She would questions his intentions and he could lose her friendship forever. He really should just keep away.

Annie is one of those characters that if she didn't appear for a few weeks most people wouldn't notice and also the show would lose nothing. She's just there for the moment, adding nothing except maybe some appeal to a younger tweenie audience. I look forward to her growing with the show and getting some meaty issues to deal with in a couple of years time.

I've just watched Karen's video and cried my eyes out at most of it. H&A really is amazing when you see so much great stuff together like that.

Do people think their relationship will survive Angelo's arrest?

Well she's in love with him, and he's Ollie's father so I'd say she's making her decisions herself where Kane is concerned. -
I actually have a bad feeling that their relationship/fling/affair is over and that we won't even see a formal "break-up". It will just be assumed because of recent events that Charlie wouldn't want anything more to do with him. He even said to her something about "you hate me now" and she didn't even look like she disagreed with him. How hot would it be that despite that hatred and mistrust, she still can't resist tearing his clothes off?? BTW, I could definitely have naughty thoughts about it, only really since he's turned darker and more brooding though. Before that I just thought he was cute, but now he is most definitely hot!

^ I actually think it is precisely to do with popularity. Jodi Gordon, much as I love her, is the darling of H&A and Channel 7 and Jack and Martha stories are always a big interest to viewers, hence why the grief is centred around her character. I actually don't know how suited Tony and Rachel are if they are not there for each other, i.e. Rachel working all the time in the aftermath of Jack's death, and That seems odd if the show plans to portray them as a happy, stable couple. Perhaps it's all leading to their love fizzling out? It just seems to me that the biggest frustration for Rachel and Tony fans is that they don't get enough screen time or couple screen time.

To me, if Kirsty chose Miles it would be very true to form. She's always been a selfish character. If she chose a man she's known for a few months over her husband and "soulmate" of a few years, whom she also has a child with it would have been more of it. She said she was in love with both men, so the clear and obvious choice was her husband so her family could be maintained. She has caused Miles nothing but grief so the best thing for him was for her to go with Kane. -
They really do get a rough trot from the writers. I'd imagine it is because they are an "older" couple and therefore not a ratings grabber like some of the teenies. H&A is not an adult based drama unfortunately.

^ They don't really need to address it. We're probably meant to assume there was a miscarriage or something. After a 10 year gap I don't think it's a point that needs addressing. Now if she had had a baby it might be a different story.
-
^ Hmm, true. However when it comes to men Charlie is fairly weak and insecure - the one chink in her armour.

I really enjoyed that Barbara. Sad reading it now thinking of him gone

Good on Chris Sadrinna!

^ I agree with you about lovers making it complicated but in this situation its more about just sleeping with each other, with no strings attached, so far, and I thinks that's what makes it so hot When I opened this thread I had "How hot are these two?" in my sub-heading, but it was edited out.

My realisation that Luke is a David Beckham lookalike when he frowns (I'll organise spot the difference pics when I have more time) is really helping in the hotness stakes. Oh it's great to have new totty to drool over now that Paul has left us
-
Well Paul's video message was nice, if a little top heavy with old scenes. I would have liked to have seen and heard more of Paul in it. Lovely thought though and as a loyal Paul fan I really appreciate him and H&A online doing it for us. I'm just updating my last message to say that at Irish pace it is the last week of the season and we are really seeing some of Paul's best work on the show. His dealings with Angelo are superbly acted. It's shame he's gonna die in 3 days, just as Jack is showing some edge.
-
^ Yes, they have great chemistry. Charlie was been great in the way she handled the "sting" attempts. She was cool and professional but also portrayed that she really, really didn't want to believe it was Angelo who killed Jack. I think her sting attempts were probably more about her wanting to prove him innocent than guilty. You could see the torture on her face when he finally confessed to it yesterday. I'm really looking foward to seeing today's (Wednesday's episode).
-
I won't be able to watch Paul's farewell interview from the offical site until I get home. Have you guys watched it yet? Is it sad?
-
^ True, so we'll just blame Jodi
-
Roman is a good and useful character, and easy on the eye too of course. I wish they would losen him up a little bit. It would be lovely to see him have a laugh. He seems so brooding all the time, but that comes across as dull and boring rather than interesting.
-
Jodi's acting is teriffic, Better than Paul's was when Sam died and I love Paul, and Jack. Between having to re-live the horrors of cancer on screen and re-live losing her partner on screen she's been through an awful lot. I'm surprised she didn't want to pack it all in and leave when Paul did and we could have had our J&M sunset ending. I love the tombyishness of Martha and while we don't see it so much now as when she first arrived, I think it is evident in that she doesn't have any close girly friends and all her best mates have been guys really -Jack, Ric, Roman. . I loved the way she was working on the farm at the end of 07, in her check shirts, carrying bales of hay around Pity Jonah was a part of it though. I hope he NEVER comes back for her.
-
The episode where they were both drowning their sorrows and got together was on in Ireland last night and it really was hot. I had forgotten about their affair what with the 7 week break but seeing those scenes again really got be excited about what the future might hold for these two.
-
Now that you say it I do. I think Sam was going through a rebellious stage at the time. Other than that though I don't remember any details.
-
It is sad that they couldn't leave together - I would have much preferred it too but Jodi wanted to stay on the show and Paul wanted to go, so what could they do?
