I gave in and watched some old scenes and I had to stop. It really was too tough. Jaysus - how did this storyline get under my skin so much?

I still can't bring myself to do that - it would be too upsetting.

I know this is spamming and not adding anything to the discussion, and I know I am therefore breaking the rules, but I had to say it: I miss my Jack and Martha, hugely.

Not being spoilery - I just think they could make good friends Charlie is certainly very keen to help Joey out, and they are both loners in the show so could strike up a bond.

Ok, fair enough about the ages. That's how I've always felt anyway. Jack and Martha were my big one of late, and before them Noah and Hayley. I am the same ages as them so went through similar issues etc. which was why I related. I could never relate to stories older people have about wanting children etc. because I was never at that stage myself.

^ That's an excellent point about relating to couples. Rachel's relationships have never related to me because I see Kim as too young and Tony as too old. I have nothing in common with her. When she had the little thing with Hugh though I felt bang on the money with her and I felt like I could be interested in her because her life had some more relevance to mine. It's the same reason why us "older" viewers could largely take or leave the teen relationships because they're just not something we can relate to.

I don't know if this is the sort of stuff you want to know, i.e. what's going on in members lives, but I got married at the end of November to my lovely husband and we spent 5 weeks travelling around Australia and elsewhere on honeymoon I just thought it might warrant as members' news!

Yes, Julie. I loved her. She was such a lady. I think her Daddy took her back home or something. Not sure really. She was so beautiful and Nick was so in love with her which was a really positive way of showing people with a disability.

Thanks for showing us the new picture of Martha. I wonder how they got her hair to look like that? Could it really just be a wig? Jodi didn't seem to have her hair cut at any stage.

The only time she was ever Martha Holden was after their first marriage. She never used Holden once they separated, not even when they remarried.

I sincerely hope Charlie and Angelo will be hotting it up. Please, please let them pick up where they left off. Please, please! I hope Charlie isn't going to be the one in the same sex relationship now because I really need to see Changelo back together.

Now, THAT should be the tagline on this thread! It sorta was when I opened it originally, but it was edited out, by someone on the staff I presume. I think they just want to keep all the threads sort of uniform in title. I had written in the tagline "how hot are these two?".

He directed Leah's 30th episode last week but whether he is still there now or not I don't know.
