  1. To be honest, it's kind of weird. Most of the shows and movies I watch are action ones (such as 24,, Daredevil, or the Punisher), where often enough the protagonists take the law into their own hands, and 99% of the time I find myself cheering for them. Yet, I don't for H&A when it unfortunately happens a lot, and it being a main reason why I've gone off Colby., which is weird since I defended a lot of his actions last year when he first showed up. I guess the main reason for the contrast is because for the other shows, most of the time, those protagonists have complex motivations or complex characters, as well as the fact we see some sort of realistic consequences for most of them, (the physiological affect can be seen for many anti-heroes, at least), and usually, these characters would have some standards. I don't see any of this in Colby. When he first acted against the law, I was like "Okay. He has some good intentions, at least hopefully he learns from it and try and do a proper job as a cop and uphold the law for himself." But no, he keeps using it to his own advantage, even lying to his fiance, and things only work out for him for use of the plot, even when his intentions are less good. That's why it's hard for me to continue to like him. Also, the fact is that H&A is actually the first soap I watched in 2008, so I was expecting at least that it somewhat realistic (but still dramatic), but it's really gone off recently.
  2. I always enjoyed the friendship they have had on the show. I'm less certain about them being a couple, but I remain open to the idea.
  3. To this day, I am still extremely confused as to why anyone, on God's green earth, give the rights to a child to Ash, who at the time lived in a van with a partner who wasn't 100% behind the idea and a brother suffering from PTSD, and had major anger issues (hypocritically, the exact thing he was condemning VJ for). I hated him during that storyline, it would have killed Billie all over again to see all the people she cared about rip each other apart over her daughter.
  4. I've seriously gone off Colby in the recent months. He seems to think he can break the law and murder whenever he wants because he's protecting Bella, when usually he makes things worse.
  5. I could like her, if her presence wasn't ruining Brody's character.
  6. Is anyone else just tired of Tori? Because I am. A lot. She used to be my favourite of the Morgans, a fun, likeable character. But in recent years, she's become this arrogant, self-righteous person that thinks that she's beyond reproach and whatever she does is the right thing, without thinking about how her actions may affect others. Particularly the baby storyline, and yet she has the nerve to complain to Jasmine when she looks at her files, and then, in a complete turn-a-bout, pleads her not to tell Robbo! Unbelievable.
  7. Now, Chelsea's not a favourite of mine, she appears too black and white, but between her and Colby, I honestly feel more sympathy for Chelsea than Colby, mainly because Colby has put her career at risk multiple times, she's tried to be supportive, but he still refuses to be completely honest with her. I can't blame her for feeling fed up sometimes.
  8. I'll admit I was reluctant to even consider the idea of them being written out, mainly out of respect of the old guard rather than actually liking the characters, but yeah, John and Marilyn;s behaviour when it came to foster children in the last year has just been done so wrong.
  9. Thank you so much guys! It has really brightened every day when I did this story just to get lovely comments from you. I'm glad I had that affect on you!? Thanks, Pembie. I do have several other ideas for stories, but I'm unsure whether or not I'll get around to all of them, I'm going to be very busy this year. But I'll try don't worry.
  10. If you're able to get it out of the Vault, InfantryAlex, I'll really look forward to reading more of this story. ?
  11. Misty, 12 degrees C.
  12. No, no, keep your jokes and funny comments coming please! They're honest and sometimes they're just the thing to brighten my day. ?
  13. Thanks Red, that really means a lot! Sometimes I'm not entirely sure about my type of writing, and sometimes I think I could do it better, but seeing that it leaves a good impression on you and others really makes it all feel worthwhile, so thanks again.
  14. I personally like her, she's very professional and passionate.
  15. I will, sorry guys, I've been having some really tough weeks, and it was so busy, but don't worry I've been working on a new chapter this week and it'll be updated soon. So thanks again for all your patience.
  16. Hmm, Mason and Coco and Hunter and Raffy? A very new idea for couples, but very interesting. I really look forward to see where you go with this Red. ? A very nice start.
  17. A really nice ending, Red, it's nice to see VJ and Olivia staying together and planning ahead for Luc's sake. Thanks for sharing this! ?
  18. Thanks Red and Kristen. I felt the things Ricky said to Brax were very important because, to be honest, Brax has always had that feeling that his actions were justified just because it was for his family, so I felt like it was time for him to hear some truths (as what I think should have happened in the show). So I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah I couldn't help leaving it at a awkward cliffhanger like that! I don't think Brax's going to just accept though. Now you're having me wish I had done it like that! That would have been great! ? Well maybe I'll do a rewrite in the future and I'll have that scene in it. Thanks guys, I'll update soon.
  19. Of course, yeah, you skipped ahead a couple of months in the story, I just meant that I didn't expect to happen so soon chapter-wise. Sorry I should have been more specific.
  20. Great chapter, you gave really good detail in what has happened in Cyprus in the last few years for VJ and Luc, though I'll be honest I didn't expect a kiss between the two this quick, but it's good to see that they're going to take this slow. I look forward to more. ?
  21. Constable Murray found a lighter and a gas tank with John's fingerprints on it after he tried to burn the surf club, I think. But before Kat could arrest him, the tumour had caused him to collapse.
  22. A very nice story Red. ? It's nice to see VJ and Luc doing well with their lives and the chat between him and Olivia catching up with their lives was sweet. I'm really looking forward to see where you go with this.
  23. Though I agree that Charlotte was too dangerous to have around and it was self-defence, Josh still could have called the police and have her locked up for good. There were better ways to deal with her.
  24. I honestly like their friendship. Their scenes together are really nice. They both come from different backgrounds, and they really seem to get on really well with each other. I can't wait to see where they go with it.
  25. Good for Kyle, I hope he does well. ?
