Extended Summary

Remi is puzzled by Eden’s declaration, saying Cash is crazy about her. Eden says he just said it was over and it wasn’t up for discussion. Bree offers her a cup of tea but she heads into her room. Bree says Eden is going to need her best friend and she’ll leave them to it. Remi goes into Eden’s room and sits with her. Later, Eden tries to tell him he can go but he says he’s not going to leave her like this. He asks for details and she tells him Cash said everyone he loves ends up in a graveyard. Remi realises he was protecting her and says he wasn’t thinking straight. Eden says it’s still over.

Tane asks Harper about when Dana said she was ill. Harper admits it was morning sickness. She gives him a glass of water and goes to make him some toast. Tane rolls onto the sofa and by the time she looks round, he’s asleep. Later, Dana comes home to find Tane passed out on the sofa. She goes to see Harper in her room and asks what happened. Harper admits Tane knows, saying she waited all that time to tell him and then blurted it out when he was about to get into a fight. Dana thinks it was for the best but Harper says she has no idea whether her baby has a father or not.

Next morning, John is outside the surf club and sees Bree, saying he saw Cash’s car on the driveway. Bree says Eden drove it back and Cash is spending more time with Gary. As she walks off, Xander and Dana appear. Xander thinks it’s good Tane knows about the baby but Dana thinks Harper might have been right to worry. Meanwhile, Tane wakes up to find Harper sat at the table. He apologises for showing up on her doorstep like that. Harper says it wasn’t a great look. Tane still isn’t happy she took so long to tell him. Harper says she needed the right time and asks how he feels about it.

Remi is waking up in his room. Eden comes in and sees the rack of wedding dresses; he explains Bree called the shop. Bree appears in the doorway behind Eden, who is saying that Cash doesn’t want to hear from her. Remi thinks she might be the one person he does want to hear from. Bree knocks on the open door and hands over a coffee. Eden says she’ll think about it.

Harper pushes Tane to tell her how he feels. He says he feels like he’s been left out of something huge and wonders why she didn’t tell him when she sees him every day. Harper says she had to work out how she felt. Tane realises she considered not going through with the pregnancy and asks if he was going to be involved at all. Harper says he can be involved as much as he wants to be. Tane gets a text from John about opening the gym and Harper suggests he needs time to think.

Eden is on the beach and tries to call Cash, only to get his voicemail. She says she knows he doesn’t want to talk to her but she got home safely and misses him, asking him to call her. John comes along and asks how she is, saying Bree filled him in. Eden is furious and tells him to mind his own business.

Xander and Dana run into Tane outside the surf club. Dana tentatively offers congratulations. Tane realises she knew and lied to him. Xander tries to defend her and Tane realises he knew as well, asking how many people knew Harper was pregnant before him, with John within earshot. After Tane’s gone, John asks Xander and Dana if Harper’s pregnant and Tane’s the father.

Bree is on the phone to the dress shop, trying to offer to bring the dresses in herself or pay for a courier, but tells Remi they’re going to be in for a few more days. Remi hopes Cash will change his mind by then. Eden storms in and accuses Bree of gossiping to John about Cash dumping her, saying she didn’t rub it in her face when she broke up with Remi. She goes off to her room and Remi tells Bree it’s not about her.

Later, Remi and Bree are walking near the beach. Bree thinks Eden has every right to be angry with her: If she’d been able to save Felicity, then Cash and Eden would still be happily engaged. Remi says that if she could have done something differently with Felicity, then she would have done, so it was out of her control and it’s Cash’s decision. She sends him to check on Eden then runs into John and asks him what he said to Eden. John says he just said it would be tough driving home without Cash and he’s not going to say anything else after Dana put him in his place. He realises he’s done it again and tells her to pass on his apologies to Eden for whatever he did.

Harper is looking at the ultrasound photo. Xander and Dana turn up and Dana asks if she’s shown it to Tane, saying that he might not be happy she’s shown it to other people before him. They tell her that Tane wasn’t happy that they knew before him and also that John overheard them talking. Later, Tane is at the farm house, leaving a message for Perri apologising for not coming home. Harper turns up and says she knows she’s not the person he wanted to have a child with. She gives him the ultrasound photo. He thanks her and she says to call her when she’s ready to talk.

Remi finishes a phone call with Bree and finds Eden isn’t in her room but in his with the wedding dresses. She recalls how, if there was a wedding going on when they drove past the church, she’d call out “Don’t do it!” Remi says they must have ruined a lot of home videos and Eden wonders if this is karma. She says Cash is screening her calls. Remi tells her what Bree actually said to John. Later, Eden takes two of the dresses into her room. She takes one out and holds it up to herself in front of the mirror.

Tane turns up at the beach house to see Harper. He tells her there’s no need to talk: He’s in. Harper doesn’t look entirely reassured.
