Extended Summary

Jasmine wakes up on her bed in the beach house and has flashbacks to coming home the previous night, telling Cash to leave her alone and him giving her a drink and a bucket to throw up in. Irene comes in, wondering why Jasmine’s there instead of at the hotel. Jasmine moans that she messed up. Down on the beach, John comes across Nikau preparing for a surf lesson. He checks Nikau isn’t taking grommits out himself and Nikau says he’s just setting up for an instructor. John starts to talk about having to stop tourists swimming in rips. Bella approaches and says a bus full of tourists just pulled into the car park. John hurries off and Nikau thanks her. Bella gives him a Ben’s Boards uniform shirt and Nikau gets her to photograph him wearing it.

At the Diner, Tori and Christian are making preparations for the wedding tomorrow. Christian notes they have the suits and celebrants sorted. Marilyn is keeping an eye on Grace at a nearby table. Tori says it’s a shame Christian’s family couldn’t come and Christian says she hasn’t met them. She gets a call from Brody, who should be catching his flight. Christian quietly asks Leah about Justin. Tori returns and says Simone’s in hospital with morning sickness so neither Brody or Raffy is coming and Justin won’t give her away. Christian says the two most important people will be there, three including Grace. At the beach house, Jasmine drinks a juice full of painkillers straight down and Irene gives her frozen peas to hold to her head. Jasmine says the stress of Grace leaving got on top of her, plus she made a fool of herself in front of Cash. Irene says it sounds like he was the perfect gentleman. Jasmine decides to stay at home rather than spoil Tori’s day or go chasing after Cash.

Christian arrives home and Justin says he could do with some help setting up. Tori has gone to see Jasmine with Grace. Justin has heard from Brody and says it’s a shame he can’t come. Christian understands that but wants to know why Justin won’t give Tori away. Justin says he has his reasons and Christian tells him to put them aside. Meanwhile, Jasmine has come out of the bathroom as Tori and Grace turn up. Tori explains about Brody and Raffy not coming, checking Jasmine still can, and asks if she wants to spend time with Grace. After handing her over, she gets a text from Justin summoning her. Jasmine looks disappointed so Tori suggests she look after Grace.

Bella heads off to get lunch as John alerts Nikau to two girls watching him. One of them, Lizzy, explains she and her friend Kate follow him on social and asks for a photo with him. John says he’ll take it and gets them to pose together. Bella watches from a distance, looking uncomfortable. Later, Bella and Nikau are tidying up in the surf club. John comes in complaining that a drink delivery was left outside. Nikau offers to help and tells Bella to file some papers. She sees that Lizzy has left her number and looks unhappy.

Justin is looking at photos as Tori comes back. He reflects on what she said about them being a team. He says he’s glad she’s getting married and got the job but letting her go is hard enough without actually giving her away. He adds that their parents would want to be there. Tori hugs him and says she gets it. Meanwhile, Jasmine is looking after Grace and tells her that her daddy will always be with her and so will she. Cash watches from the doorway before knocking, meeting Grace for the first time.

That evening, Leah, Justin, Tori and Christian are having dinner together. Justin calls it the last supper and Christian says he’s getting married, not crucified. Leah asks about the packing. Tori says the photos from the nursery were the first thing she packed and she’ll never forget the effort Leah put in. Grace starts crying and Justin asks if he and Leah can go and settle her. Tori reflects that this time tomorrow she and Christian will be married. He has a hotel room booked and she warns him no detours. Meanwhile, Cash and Jasmine are on the pier. Jasmine apologises for last night, saying she felt anxious about Grace and their first night together. Cash says he wanted it to be special and for her to remember it. Jasmine checks it will still happen and Cash says he has credit on the room. They kiss.

Next morning, Leah is doing Tori’s make-up. Justin comes in and expresses his admiration. He says there’s one more thing to do and offers her his arm, saying he’ll give her away. Tori checks that he’s sure and he confirms he is. At the beach house, Irene tries to get Jasmine to get a move on but Jasmine tells her to go to work. Irene passes Cash, who turns up in uniform. Jasmine doesn’t want to go, since it would mean saying goodbye to Tori and Grace. She says it’s too late to go anyway but Cash says he can get her there.

Leah leads Grace down the aisle as she scatters petals with Christian watching. Leah and Grace take their places among the guests, near Marilyn. Justin then escorts Tori to Christian. Tori says let’s get married.
