Extended Summary

At the federal headquarters, Robbo is looking through photos. Scott comes over and Robbo tells him that Lance was shot at close range. Scott suggests he could have been ambushed but Robbo thinks it was someone he knew and trusted. Neither of them can work out why he was at an industrial estate in Reefton Lakes. At the hospital, Justin tries to get Alex to convince Tori to stay there. Alex would rather she did but Tori insists she’ll discharge herself and Alex concedes it’s up to her. Mason arrives and wonders about the police guard. Justin says he’ll explain later and tries to get Mason to talk to Tori but she insists her mind’s made up.

At the surf club, Bella is unsuccessfully attempting to phone Colby. Mackenzie comes past and tells Bella that Colby already knows she isn’t sick so she might as well confess to him. She suggests they go to him together and sort it out but Bella refuses to help Mackenzie see Colby. Mackenzie gives up and leaves her alone. At the Diner, Marilyn is serving Ben and Maggie. Ben tries to stop Maggie looking at her phone when she gets a message alert, thinking it’s from work, but she points out it could be from one of the girls. She’s right: It’s a good luck message from Coco. They explain to Marilyn that Maggie’s having her annual cancer check-up, since she’s been cancer free for a year.

Willow is allowed into the Diner flat by the police guard and asks Jasmine what’s going on. Jasmine admits it’s started again. Meanwhile, an AFP officer checks the Morgan house and then lets Justin, Tori and Grace in. Justin tells Tori to sit, noting Buddy’s more obedient, and then offers her and Grace his room. Tori starts crying but assures him it’s happy tears.

Robbo gives instructions to officers before Scott tells him Tori and Grace have been escorted home. Robbo decides he wants to interview Victor and Des. Scott isn’t sure but Robbo says they might let something slip and at worst he’ll be able to put fear into them. Scott agrees to set it up. Meanwhile, Bella arrives at the hospital. Alex greets her and she says she’s looking for Jasmine. Alex says Jasmine’s shift isn’t until later and notes Bella lives with her; Bella explains she’s moved out again. Mason gets Alex for a patient and then chats to Ben and Maggie about the check-up. Unnoticed, Bella sees a drugs trolley and takes a packet from it.

Tori finds Justin clearing his things out of the bedroom. She notes there’s a lot of Leah’s stuff there and Justin says she moved in. Tori wonders why she hasn’t seen her and Justin admits she’s missing: No-one’s seen or heard from her since Tori woke up and the police are looking into it. Tori gives him a hug of comfort. Later, Mason finds Tori and Grace in the bedroom. After saying they’re getting used to each other, Tori gives him Grace to hold. Mason tells her that he’s the cool one and they’ll be seeing a lot more of each other now.

Jasmine fills Willow in on what’s happened while she’s been away, including Grace going to live with Tori. Robbo and Scott turn up but they don’t have any news; Scott has just persuaded Robbo to go home for the night since there’s nothing they can do for the moment. Jasmine notes she’ll change her night shift to tomorrow morning. Scott and Willow leave them to it and they kiss. Later, Robbo and Jasmine are relaxing on the sofa. Jasmine notes she misses Grace and says she thought she knew what she wanted but having Grace has changed everything. She admits she wants a family and they agree to try for a baby once things are over. Robbo insists it will end soon.

Next morning, Bella is near the surf club. She takes out two bottles of pills, swallows the few pills remaining, then bins the bottles. Willow comes along and Bella says she’s ill, asking her to call Colby. Mackenzie also appears and says Bella’s faking again. Bella insists she isn’t and walks off. Mackenzie comments that she’ll stop at nothing. At the Morgan house, Tori and Mason are turning the place apart while Justin minds Grace. Marilyn turns up with a veggie lasagne. Tori explains she can’t find the memory book Jasmine made her and may have left it at the hospital. Even though Mason’s going to look when he goes into work, Marilyn offers to look as well.

Robbo and Jasmine are relaxing for a few moments when Scott turns up with Senior Constable Jay Meyers, Jasmine’s bodyguard for the day; Robbo recalls working with him on the Fairhills case. Scott says it’ll be hours before Victor and Des arrive so they should go see Tori and Grace first. Soon after, Robbo and Scott are relaxing with Tori, Justin and Grace. Tori offers condolences on Lance and asks Scott about his family. He says it’s tough not seeing them much but he’s doing this for them. Mason comes through, late for work because he’s been on the phone to Brody and Raffy. He says his goodbyes and Justin throws him an apple for breakfast. He blows a kiss to Grace through the window.

Bella is doubled up in pain near the surf club. Mackenzie comes along and finds her, insisting Bella let her help her despite their problems. Bella is mostly interested in someone calling Colby but Mackenzie says she’ll take her to hospital first. There, she brings her to Alex, who says they’ll call Colby after she’s sorted. Mason arrives and passes Ben and Maggie, who say Maggie’s results are clear, while Marilyn asks Jasmine about the memory book. Alex tells Mason to find Bella a bed. Bella wants to go to the bathroom and Mackenzie insists on going with her. No sooner are they out of sight when three men with guns appear. The head one points his gun in Jay’s back and forces him to hand over his gun, then yells for everyone to get on the ground. Several people including Alex, Jasmine, Marilyn and Jay comply; Mason makes a brief attempt at remonstrating before joining them. The lead gunman says no-one is getting out of here today unless he says so.
