Extended Summary

Willow is directing Alex in a kickboxing session on the beach, before admitting Alex passed twenty a while ago but she didn’t want to interrupt. Alex manages to negotiate a two minute break and sighs that she must look a mess. Willow replies that she looks kissable. She looks around and notes she has to tell Colby and Dean about them in order to drop the ban on PDAs. Meanwhile, Leah runs into Robbo near the Diner and asks what happened to Justin. Robbo admits telling him about the plan to move away. Leah says it was a bad day to do it and is unhappy at his lack of help, prompting Robbo to awkwardly head upstairs.

Robbo finds Jasmine at the flat and tells her about Justin’s reaction. He wonders if Justin is right when he accused him of giving up on Tori. Jasmine says that he’s doing what’s best for Grace, before heading off to work. At the gym, Willow and Alex see Mason having a rather intense workout. They approach him and ask him about Tori, before offering to get a drink with him later if he feels like talking. Willow gets a phone call from Robbo, who says he’ll be in later to talk to her. She worries that she’s in trouble. Although amused, Alex offers to stick around for support.

Leah leaves Irene alone at the Diner so she can look for Justin. Irene tells Ben and Maggie about Robbo’s plan to move away. She asks them about Ziggy and they note she’s doing well at the trial, with Ben noting he has to go and put the finishing touches on her surf board. Maggie gets a phone call from Roo, who admits she’s at a loose end with Alf and Martha away and Ryder spending all his time at work or with Jade. Maggie invites her to help with schoolwork, offering wine. At the surf club, Leah finds Mason and asks if he’s seen Justin. Marilyn calls them over to her and John’s table and John tells them about seeing Justin drive off looking stressed. Leah tells Mason about Robbo’s plan.

Robbo is outside the surf club with Grace when Leah and Mason emerge. Mason angrily asks why he thinks taking Grace 100km away from Tori is a good idea. Robbo denies cutting Tori out of Grace’s life. Leah asks how many times he’s taken Grace to see Tori, concluding that it’s never. Robbo goes to the gym but is distracted, telling Willow what just happened. He doesn’t see the point in taking Grace in, since Tori is unconscious and Grace doesn’t know her. Alex chimes in, saying sometimes coma parents are aware of what’s around them and it’s important for babies to bond with their mother. Robbo tells Willow they’ll talk later, since he has to do something.

At the farm house, Maggie wonders if Roo is regretting volunteering. Roo notes their house is usually full of people and she should be enjoying having it to herself. Maggie suggests the real issue is Ryder growing up, saying she found it a shock when Coco left and now Ziggy isn’t there either. She is stopped in her tracks when she sees Bella’s report card. At the gym, Alex finds Willow in the office stressing that she’s made a mistake with the accounts. Alex says it might not be anything to do with her and Willow worries Robbo’s going to sell or wants back the money he lent her for the PT course (which she’s been paying back out of her wages). Alex convinces her to come for some food.

Leah is out on the wharf, leaving a phone message for Justin. Marilyn comes over and tries to reassure her, noting Leah has been a rock to the Morgans throughout everything. Leah wants to know he’s okay. Meanwhile, Robbo is arriving at the city hospital with Grace, telling her he doesn’t like hospitals either but she gets to meet her mother. He finds Justin at Tori’s bedside; Nurse Frankie asks Robbo if she can help him. Robbo tells Justin people have been worrying about him and leaves Grace with him while he goes to make a call. Justin holds Grace next to Tori, introducing them, and tells Tori she needs to wake up.

At the Diner, Leah gets a phone call from Robbo telling her where Justin is and shares the news with Irene, Marilyn and Mason. She wants to go to the city to see him but Mason convinces her to give him some space. Later, Justin and Robbo arrive back in town. Robbo convinces Justin he’ll take Grace to see Tori every week, even after he’s moved to the farm. Justin asks when they’re going and Robbo says in about four weeks. He hopes he and Justin aren’t at odds until then.

Willow and Alex are eating on the headland with Alex commenting on Willow eating chips after the workout. Willow says she’s never had a job she liked before and admits she lied about her experience to get it and Robbo gave her a second chance. She recalls she was never good at school but cares about this. Alex suggests Willow go see him, since she has night shift soon. After looking around, Willow kisses her. At the farm house, Maggie and Roo have finished the work but don’t feel like drinking after finding out about Bella. They worry putting her in Year 12 is setting her up to fail and decide to talk to Colby. As Roo leaves, Ben comes home with Ziggy’s surf board wrapped up and tells Maggie she’ll see it when Ziggy does.

Leah and Mason arrive at Salt to see Justin. He tells them about Robbo taking Grace to see Tori and says they need to talk. Meanwhile, Robbo finds Willow in the flat. She somewhat frantically asks what she’s done wrong. Robbo tells her he’s promoting her to full-time manager, since she pretty much runs the gym anyway. Willow is delighted.

Justin announces that he’s not letting Tori be transferred to the brain injury unit. Mason is horrified. Justin is convinced Tori reacted to Grace and says they have four weeks to wake her up. Mason says Tori needs long-term care and the ICU bed is better occupied by someone else. He thinks Justin’s being selfish while Justin thinks Mason needs to have a heart. Mason walks away.
