Extended Summary

Mason and Raffy are walking near the beach. Raffy wonders why they haven’t heard from Tori. When Mason mentions the baby, she remembers the scan and feels bad: She was talking about Tori chasing up news of the trial. Mason tries to assure her they just have to jump through hoops but Raffy is struggling on her old medication. Meanwhile, Tori, Robbo and Jasmine arrive back at the hospital. Tori runs over what they saw on the scan, not seeing anything wrong, and Jasmine suggests the hospital might just want a clearer view. Tori goes over to Dr Andrews who agrees to see them now. Robbo and Tori accompany her into the office with Jasmine waiting behind.

At the Diner, Irene checks that Marilyn is okay covering her shifts while she spends time with Bella. Marilyn comments to Leah that, with John away, she’s got nothing else to do except sit at home on her own. She admits it’s hard but says it’s only temporary. Justin, Mason and Raffy all come in: None of them have heard from Tori. Justin gets a call from Jasmine explaining they’re back at the hospital. Justin decides to head down there but doesn’t let Mason or Raffy come, taking Leah instead. Back at the hospital, Andrews tells Tori and Robbo the baby is perfect then points to the problem: The length of the cervix. It’s 20mm when it should be at least 30mm, meaning there’s a danger of premature labour. If it happens now, the baby won’t survive. Jasmine, Justin and Leah come up in the lift as Robbo comes out and says Tori could lose the baby. Jasmine takes him a little way away and gets him a drink of water before saying she’ll find out more.

Raffy and Mason are walking on the beach. Raffy is getting increasingly stressed, thinking that on top of Brody going, Tori will lose the baby and she won’t get on the trial. Mason tries to calm her but she ends up having a seizure. Alf and Marilyn see and come over; Mason says they have to wait it out so Alf shoos onlookers away. Mason angrily says he could have stopped this. Once Raffy has recovered, Mason and Marilyn take her to the Palmer house for a rest. Mason asks Marilyn to look after her for the night since, with Tori’s news, there’s unlikely to be peace and quiet at theirs. He is annoyed she is having to wait for the trial when the oil was helping her. Marilyn says they have to be patient but Mason worries how many seizures she’ll have in the meantime.

Leah and Justin are waiting as Tori and Jasmine rejoin them. They ask what’s going on, since Robbo didn’t give details, and Tori explains about the cervical weakness and risk of premature labour. She has to have a repeat scan to make sure. Jasmine goes to get Robbo but only finds his cup. In fact, Robbo is on the beach with Aiden, getting a text from Jasmine. Robbo is expecting bad news, saying this is why he didn’t want to go through this again. Aiden says it’s not just the good or bad and Robbo won’t know unless he goes back to the hospital, and things will happen either way. He says Robbo did the right thing coming to him.

Leah, Tori and Jasmine discuss Robbo’s whereabouts; Jasmine has got a reply but doesn’t know where he is. Mason has arrived and told Justin about Raffy; they both agree not to tell Tori. Mason wants to put Raffy back on the CBD oil until she can be put on the trial, since her medication isn’t working. Justin refuses to consider it, saying the courts won’t be so lenient on Mason a second time. Down on the beach, Aiden continues to assure Robbo he’s handling things well. Robbo gets another text saying the doctor’s ready to talk to them.

Leah and Justin chat about Raffy and what Mason wanted to do; Justin hopes he got through to him. Tori asks Jasmine about Robbo; Jasmine insists he’ll be there and is proved right a moment later when he turns up. He and Tori go in to see Andrews, with Robbo repeating Aiden’s remark about it not just being good news or bad news. Andrews says the second scan confirmed it. They’re going to put Tori on progesterone and recommend bed rest. If that doesn’t work, they may have to put a suture in, which could cause complications later. Tori, Justin, Robbo, Jasmine and Leah head back to the Morgan house together. Mason says he’s taking some things to Raffy and Tori is told about the seizure; she says to give Raffy her best and she’ll chase up the trial tomorrow. Robbo wants to stay and look after Tori but she says she’ll go straight to sleep and Jasmine takes Robbo home.

Robbo and Jasmine arrive back at the flat. Jasmine admits she thought Robbo had done a runner. He explains about seeing Aiden and she says he did the right thing. Tori calls, saying she didn’t answer a question Robbo asked earlier: She’s going to look after their baby girl. Meanwhile, Raffy has woken up. She asks Marilyn when John is and Marilyn explains he’s in the city with Jett. Mason turns up with her things and explains about Tori; Raffy is somewhat despondent. After she’s gone back to bed, Marilyn again tells Mason they need to wait for the trial even though Mason is beginning to feel Raffy won’t be accepted. He leaves and, once outside, makes a phone call saying he needs another batch.

Next morning, Mason is on the phone at home, saying they need to meet somewhere else and tomorrow isn’t good enough. Leah comes in as he’s saying it’s not about getting stoned, it’s for his sister. Mason tells Leah it’s none of her business; Leah says it’s Justin’s and tries to convince him not to go but he insists he’s right and walks out.
