Extended Summary

At the Morgan house, Tori gets a text and predicts it’ll be the hospital calling her in for an emergency. Mason says at least someone wants her. In fact, it’s a reminder that her ultrasound’s tomorrow. Justin says after that she can start making plans. Tori notes she hasn’t heard from Robbo, which means the three uncles will have to put the cot together. They aren’t convinced Brody will be any good but Mason insists a medical degree means he can handle it. After Mason’s gone, Tori asks Justin if they should do something about Brody but he doesn’t think it’s something they can fix. He tries texting Leah before agreeing to walk to the Diner together.

As they walk, Justin suggests they arrange a lunch for after the ultrasound but Tori isn’t keen to make plans since they don’t know if anything will be wrong. She wonders if she should call Robbo to tell him about the scan; he probably won’t answer but she could leave a message. Justin says her conscience would be clear then, although Tori isn’t sure of that. Justin changes his mind and decides to go for a swim, leaving Tori to walk alone. Tori runs into Jasmine outside the Diner. Jasmine is rushing off to work and has a plaster above her eye from walking into a kitchen cupboard. After she’s gone, Tori rings Robbo’s number and leaves a message about the scan, saying it’s at 9am tomorrow.

At the hospital, John rejoins Jett and Marilyn and says he saw some army guys. Marilyn confirms they visited them. Jett says the army have a duty of care since he’s still enlisted but was glad to get an update on the other guys: Most of the wounded have been discharged, although he reminds John two were killed. Jasmine arrives wanting to give Jett a check-up in private. Jett tries asking to show John what he can do in the chair first but John and Marilyn leave without complaint.

At the Diner, Irene is telling Roo that Leah’s account must have been hacked but Roo thinks the blog is genuine. Irene doesn’t think Leah would give those details but then wonders if it’s from personal experience, recalling she’s been chirpy later and humming. Tori comes in and they show her the blog. Irene and Tori speculate if Leah’s got a new man. Roo tries to suggest they shouldn’t go into it too deeply. Near the beach, Justin joins Mason and suggests they have dinner with Tori before the scan. Mason is looking at Leah’s blog, which the women in his class were talking about. Justin tries not to look too awkward.

Jasmine has nearly finished giving Jett his tests but says she needs to change his catheter to stop an infection. Jett is very uncomfortable with the idea, stopping her and asking for a male nurse. Jasmine says there aren’t any available but suggests they can teach him how to change it himself. Meanwhile, Justin goes to see Leah to confront her about the blog. Roo listens from the corridor as Leah argues that no-one knows it was about him. Justin says Raffy and Roo know and other people will put two and two together, saying she made a decision that affects both of them. Leah protests that there is no them and no rules. Justin concludes that she won’t see his point of view and walks out. Roo comes in and says “Lustin” just had their first fight.

Tori meets up with Jasmine at the hospital and asks if she’s seen Leah’s blog about attachment-free sex. Jasmine says power to her for going it alone and asks about Tori’s scan. Tori says it’s tomorrow and mentions calling Robbo. Jasmine tells her how uncomfortable Jett was and thinks he needs to move forward. Tori says that he’s not ready to go home yet and the house isn’t ready either. However, she asks Jasmine to call patient transport since she has an idea.

Tori leads John, Jett and Marilyn into the surf club and says she’ll go and tell Mason. John clears a path to the gym for Jett, getting a young lady to move out of the way and angrily asking a young man looking at Jett if he wants to take a picture. Jett notes he got looks when he went out in public in uniform as well. Tori returns with Mason, and Jett follows them both into the gym. Mason says he’s spoken to Jett’s physio about a training programme and Tori adds that the idea is to build upper body strength. Mason gets Jett to start with light jabs against some pads.

Roo brings Leah a cup of tea but Leah refuses to have a debrief over what happened with Justin, saying the whole point is they don’t do that sort of thing. Roo suggests Justin might have feelings for her, thinking his reaction before wasn’t very casual. Later, Justin meets Leah on the pier and apologises, saying it was none of his business. Leah says she isn’t going to stop blogging or censor herself. She asks if he has feelings for her and he denies it. He suggests they hook up later but she says she’s having dinner with Roo. It is clear things are still awkward between them.

Mason directs Jett to lift himself up out of his chair and balance on his hands for ten seconds. He wants to end the session but Jett wants to do one more. Mason lets him, but he can only hold it for three seconds. Jett wants to wait five minutes and try again, saying he knows his body. Tori tells him he needs to learn his new limits.

John wheels Jett outside where Marilyn is waiting. Jett watches a group of young people throwing a ball about and notes the last time he played would have been about a month ago with his unit and he’d have made more of it if he’d known it’d be the last time. John and Marilyn try to tell him there are other ways to play sport. Jett agrees but says there’s still a lot he’ll never do again: He had a good workout but it’s nothing compared to what he could do a month ago. Tori joins them and says the transport’s on its way. Jett can’t wait to get out of there.

Later, at the hospital, Jasmine remarks that Jett must have had a good workout to polish off the hospital food. Marilyn suggests bringing in protein powder for his shakes and Jasmine agrees. Tori comes in and says they should be working towards Jett going home: She thinks he should be ready at the same time the house is. John goes to call Ben to hurry things along.

Next morning, Jasmine meets Mason on the beach for a boot camp. Mason tells her about Tori insisting on going to the scan alone. Jasmine is aghast that they’re going to let her but Mason says he’s not going to argue with a pregnant woman. Outside the Morgan house, Justin asks Tori if she wants him to come with her. Jasmine runs up, out of breath, and says she’s not taking no for an answer: She’s going with Tori and demands her car keys. At that moment, Robbo arrives back at the Diner flat with his bags. He checks the time and sees it’s 8:25.
