Extended Summary

Tori and Robbo enter Salt with Tori noting they haven’t spoken in a while. Robbo wonders why she wanted to meet but Tori says they should catch up first, asking about his home life and the gym and noting the whole town’s got behind him. Robbo again tries to ask her what’s going on but Tori says they’ll order first. At the Diner, Irene chats to Ben about Maggie’s test results and also about Willow moving in with her. She sees Jasmine loitering in the doorway and calls her over. Ben leaves as Irene guesses Jasmine was looking around because she is trying to avoid Robbo. Irene says she’ll cook dinner tonight and Jasmine can talk if she wanted to.

Alf is working outside the surf club and hears Ryder bouncing a ball against the wall. He asks why he was at the caravan park when he was meant to be at school. Ryder talks about getting Raffy into trouble and upsetting Coco. He wonders if he and Coco can sort things out. Alf says they need to have an honest conversation and also that he and Ryder need to have one about wagging. Ryder hastily says they’ll do it at home. Down on the beach, John warns Raffy that Marilyn is making lentil mousse. Coco arrives and John has to remind her to call him “Mr Palmer” before Raffy reminds him he was leaving. Coco says Ryder admitted the truth and apologise for not believing Raffy. Raffy says she has to go to the library and Coco asks to go with her.

Robbo and Tori go out onto the balcony at Salt. Tori asks if Robbo has anyone special in his life. Robbo says a relationship isn’t on the cards now. Tori says he’s lucky to be content and she’s started to realise you need to go for what you want. She’s interrupted by the waitress bringing their meals. Robbo asks what she wants and Tori says it’s a bit complicated. Meanwhile, Irene and Jasmine arrive home. Irene notices there’s nothing in the fridge and also that Willow has left her bag in the middle of the floor. Jasmine says she’ll get pizza. Irene says she can’t avoid Robbo. Jasmine thinks her feelings were just a moment and they can be friends. Irene says they need to talk to do that.

Tori says she’s seen all her brothers move on with their lives and is starting to think she should do the same. Robbo blurts out that he’s not interested in dating and doesn’t see her like that. Tori says she feels the same and wanted to talk about something else. She decides she needs another drink first and Robbo says he’ll get it. Later, Jasmine comes in and goes to the bar, where service is slow. The couple next to her move to reveal Robbo standing behind them. As they start discussing the no contact rules, Tori comes over. Both she and Jasmine ask Robbo for a word, then apologise to the other for interrupting. Tori leaves and Robbo gives Jasmine the drink he bought Tori before leaving as well.

At the Diner, John is buying some chocolate cake as a reward. He asks Ben if he thinks there’s still tension between Raffy and Coco. Ben says Maggie thought so but he thinks they’ve sorted it. Raffy and Coco then come in and settle to do their book report. John says he’ll give Raffy some chocolate later and Ben asks Coco to watch out for their dinner. Ryder comes in and asks to talk to Coco but she says she needs to work on the report. John watches with interest. Next morning, Ryder and Raffy go to the surf club. Coco arrives and is unhappy that Raffy brought Ryder, trying to get him to leave. Raffy points out they’re meant to be doing their project together. Coco says she’ll do hers on her own and, despite Raffy’s protests, sits at a table some way away. John again watches from the doorway.

Justin finds Tori near the beach and notes he didn’t see her last night. Tori says she went for a walk after the meal. She says she followed his advice and tried to keep emotion out of it, learning Robbo is settled…but ended up not asking him. Meanwhile, Robbo is doing stretches near the Diner as Jasmine runs along the beach. Robbo starts off and bumps into her. After a few apologies, they prepare to go their separate ways before Robbo asks to buy her a coffee. Jasmine asks if he’ll sit with her as well.

John calls Coco over to the table where Raffy and Ryder are sitting and insists they need to sort things out. He also says Coco lying to her parents didn’t help. He produces a handbook of team building exercises. All the teens think it looks out of date but John persists. A short while later, he explains they’re going to do role play where they take on the roles of the aggressor, the victim and the peacemaker. After rejecting the first scenario, someone sleeping with someone else, he settles on someone talking behind someone’s back. Ryder suggests they might have had a good reason and Coco calls that an excuse. They all start arguing and John puts a stop to it. Ryder says Coco won’t listen if he talks and Coco ends up walking out.

Irene serves Robbo and Jasmine at the Diner. Jasmine confirms she’s been avoiding the gym. Robbo suggests they should move on and confirms that includes having coffee together. He then gets a text about a problem at the gym and has to leave. Jasmine tells an unconvinced Irene that everything’s sorted. Down on the beach, Tori complains to Justin about Jasmine interrupting but Justin points out she had plenty of time to tell Robbo what she wanted. He suggests this means she should reconsider: She’s still on the donor list and she could ask someone else. Tori tells him to go to work.

Alf and John are at the counter at the Diner with Ryder and Raffy studying nearby. Alf is incredulous about John’s roleplay idea and John admits it was a failure. Coco then arrives and tells the others that John was right: They were all at fault and she doesn’t want to lose them. She and Ryder agree to carry on seeing each other, although neither seem entirely convinced. Alf and John are surprised it worked. Alf tells Ryder he still needs to clean the shower block for wagging. Up in the flat, Robbo is working on the laptop and gets a text from Jasmine saying she’s glad they’re okay. Tori turns up and, despite still being flustered, manages to tell Robbo what she’s thinking: She wants to have a baby by IVF and asks him to be the donor. Robbo doesn’t exactly jump at the idea.
