Willow refuses to use the card skimmer. Robbo fights to prove his innocence. Will Colby wake up from his coma?

Extended Summary

Dean and Willow arrive back at the flat. Willow is frantic about what they’ve done, while Dean complains that no-one was supposed to be there. Willow calls for an ambulance, saying someone’s hurt at the surf club. Dean worries that the police will trace the call but Willow is unrepentant, saying it was their fault. At the surf club, Hunter and Mason turn up looking for Mason’s charger and find Alf, still on the floor but conscious enough to tell them what happened. Mason props him up and Hunter goes to call an ambulance, but then they hear one arriving outside so he simply beckons the ambos in.

Next morning, Hunter and Olivia chat outside the surf club, wondering who made the call. Willow comes over with Dean, having heard them talking about someone being hurt. Hunter says Alf was checked over at the hospital and is fine. Dean leads Willow away, telling her not to act suspicious. Willow says they’re done with the card skimmer, although Dean is more worried about Brett than the police. At the police station, Robbo paces in his cell then calls out angrily. McCarthy appears and lets him out of the cell for paperwork. He says they’ve confirmed Ebony is Body’s sister and are looking for her but only as a witness. He gets Robbo to sign the papers for his bail hearing tomorrow. Robbo asks about Colby and McCarthy says there’s no change but the doctors are hopeful. They haven’t been able to get hold of Lance. Robbo mentions getting him to run a background check on Ebony. McCarthy agrees to try again.

Dean is at the hospital as Tori and Jasmine check on Colby; they are withdrawing the sedation and giving him drugs to counteract the hypothermia. Jasmine says Dean can wait until he comes round but Dean gets a text and says he’ll come back later. Tori decides to take her break but Jasmine decides to stay, since she knows what it’s like to wake up and not know what’s happened. At the police station, McCarthy tells Robbo that they still can’t get hold of Lance. Robbo asks to look at the case files, suggesting that a fresh pair of eyes might help. McCarthy thinks it would be a waste of time but seems to agree.

Willow finds Dean near the beach, just ending a phone call. He tells her the hospital are bringing Colby out of the coma. Willow is still upset about what happened to Alf and that they were trying to rip off their friends, but also aware that they’re in trouble. Dean says he’s going to meet Brett to sort things out. Meanwhile, Hunter and Mason find Alf near the surf club and query whether he should be working. Alf says he’s fine, but leaves them to sort out the Polaris and lock up. Mason gets a text from Dempsey and admits he went back to hers after the wedding. Olivia comes past and she and Hunter exchange waves; Hunter says being friends is going well. Olivia gets a phone call; she seems slightly bemused but confirms she designed Ziggy’s wedding dress.

Outside the Diner, Justin finishes a phone call and tells Tori that his solicitor is applying for access to Ava; there’ll be a court date in a few weeks and mediation until then. He adds that Hazel was found dead in Ebony’s motel room and is worried that it happened right after he told Robbo where it was. At the police station, Robbo queries the evidence of the two phials of poison, protesting he wouldn’t make such an obvious mistake as leaving one in his flat so it must be planted. McCarthy shows in Justin and Tori, who ask him what’s going on. He explains that he’s been framed and that Ebony was Hazel’s daughter and Boyd’s sister.

Justin processes Robbo’s claim that Ebony was seeking revenge for Colby killing Boyd. Robbo points out Colby’s life fell apart after Ebony turned up. He thinks she set him up because she realised he was suspicious of her. McCarthy comes in and ends the visit. At the Diner flat, Dean returns but is clearly in pain and shows Willow his bruised ribs. He says he’s bought them an extra week but the debt has doubled: They now owe $6000.

Hunter and Mason are somewhat exasperated to find Alf being served by Irene at the Diner, asking him if he’s ever going home. He does however pay for their coffees as a thank you. Olivia turns up and says she’s got a job: Someone saw Ziggy’s wedding dress on Leah’s blog and has asked her to design hers. However, it does mean cutting back her shifts at the Diner. Up in the flat, Willow is furious at the increased debt but still bins the skimmer. She tells Dean that it’s her fault and she’ll handle it.

Shortly after, Willow is in the Diner placing an ad for the Triumph online. She goes over to Alf and Irene, who are discussing the fact the ambulance would have found him if Hunter and Mason hadn’t. Alf doesn’t know who made the call or who knocked him over but thinks it’s only a matter of time. Irene agrees. Up in the flat, Dean retrieves the skimmer from the bin.

Jasmine is with Colby when he starts to come round and calls Tori in. They remove the tube and tell him he was in an induced coma. However, he quickly starts gasping for breath and Tori calls for help. At the police station, McCarthy gives Robbo ten minutes with Justin, who has brought a takeout. Justin says if Robbo’s right then Ava could still be in danger. Robbo says their only hope is for Colby to come round and remember something about Ebony. Back at the hospital, Tori is unable to get the cric in and tells Jasmine to start bagging. Colby goes into respiratory distress. Tori tries to intubate again.
