Extended Summary

Justin and Tori walk towards the Diner. Justin is frustrated that Tori is taking Robbo to his counselling session, thinking he could take the bus. Tori says she promised Colby and it’s going to be confronting. Justin accepts he wouldn’t like being asked to tell everything to a stranger but hopes Tori will let Robbo go once she’s done this. Her silence is deafening and she makes it clear she’s going to carry on supporting him until his trial. She heads up to the flat alone. Robbo is looking at photos of Kat but is ready to go. Tori asks how he’s been sleeping, warning him Pickford will ask difficult questions. Robbo isn’t expecting anything from the sessions, just calling it box ticking.

At the caravan park house, Ziggy argues that Ben needs to tell Maggie about his court date. Ben says he will when he’s sorted a lawyer. He notes the cold gives him an excuse to stay away from Maggie since he’s never been good at lying to her. Ziggy protests that he expects her to and Ben replies that she’s never had a problem with it. Alf comes through and asks what they’re arguing about; Ben says Ziggy thinks he needs to stay there a while longer and Alf agrees. Ziggy heads home and starts to tell Maggie something but is thrown to find she’s cleaned up. Maggie says the birthday breakfast and Skype chat perked her up and suggests they go to the Diner. Ziggy says what she was going to say can wait.

Tori and Robbo arrive at the hospital. Tori directs Robbo to Pickford’s office, saying he has to be there every second week and she’ll wait for him. Pickford asks what he wants to be called and he says Robbo. Pickford asks how he’s been since they last met and what it’s like being back in Summer Bay. When she asks how he feels about learning about his past, he admits he’s terrified. At the garage, Ash tells Justin that he needs to pick up a part since it’s Dean’s day off. Justin says he doesn’t object to Dean working there so long as he doesn’t bring in any trouble. Willow arrives and Ash leaves. Justin asks about Russell (having been filled in by Colby) and Willow says he’s back in the nursing home. Justin confirms Dean still has a job and says he’s been thinking about what Willow said about being jealous. However, then the phone rings and Willow says they’ll talk later.

Pickford asks Robbo what he and Lauren were like as parents. Robbo says he doesn’t remember. Pickford tries asking him about Kat, saying it’s connected to Lauren, but Robbo refuses to discuss it and storms out. Tori tries to talk to him but he tells her to leave him alone. Near the Diner, Maggie asks Ziggy where Coco is and Ziggy says she’s with Ryder. Ben is sat on a bench nearby making a phone call. Maggie and Ziggy come over. Ben is reluctant to talk and, seeing Justin nearby, rushes over to chat to him.

As they enter the Diner, Ben fills Justin in on the fact every lawyer he talks to is busy and asks about Brody’s lawyer. Justin says he’ll give him the details but is actually there to meet Willow. However, no sooner has he sat with her then John asks if she’s going down the gym, saying the new casual’s useless and Mason’s busy with uni. Willow accepts she needs to make up for being away and tells Justin she’ll call when she’s free. Meanwhile, Maggie and Ziggy arrive back at the farm house. Maggie thinks Ben was hiding something but Ziggy puts her off the idea. Maggie takes a phone call. She tells Ziggy it was her chemo doctor: They want her in for tests on Thursday at 11am. Ziggy tries to get her to put it off, saying Ben might not be available, but Maggie thinks he’ll be better by then.

Tori finds Robbo on the beach, calling someone to let them know. Robbo says he’s not going back to the doctor. Tori says it’s part of his bail conditions and Robbo says they can lock him up. He angrily asks Tori why she cares. Ash, up on the headland, sees Robbo yelling at Tori and hurries over, pushing him away. The two men square up but Tori intercedes and Robbo walks away. Ash asks if Tori really says he’s not dangerous. They head up to Salt where Tori argues that Robbo was angry with the situation, not her. Ash says Kat died because she couldn’t accept what a mongrel Robbo was. Tori retorts that Ash has made it clear he doesn’t care about her.

Tori heads to the garage to complain to Justin about both Robbo and Ash, adding that Colby told her Robbo came home and locked himself in his room. Justin gets a text from Willow saying she’s free but doesn’t respond. He suggests both Ash and Robbo are mourning Kat. Tori says Ash has support, even if he doesn’t accept it, while Robbo has no-one and couldn’t even go to the funeral. She looks thoughtful. At the caravan park house, Ben is ending a phone conversation with Maggie as Ziggy listens in. Ziggy thinks he needs to tell Maggie, since his court appearance is at 9.30. Ben thinks his lawyer might be able to move it and is determined to be there for Maggie.

Ash arrives back at the garage and Justin comments on it taking all day to get a part, explaining he heard what happened with Tori. Ash says he’s not going to make a fuss about Robbo anymore and will be civil and professional at work but they’re not friends. Justin heads home where Willow is waiting for him: He assures her it’s “very okay” that she’s there. Willow says she missed him and it’s hard for her to admit that. Justin suggests that he isn’t keen on Dean being around because he doesn’t know if himself and Willow have a relationship or it’s just fun. Willow suggests it could be both, saying she’s never felt like this about anyone before. They kiss.

Next morning, Tori meets Robbo on the wharf. Robbo apologises but doesn’t want her to force him to go back to Pickford. Tori says there’s something else she wants to do first. They head to a church and Tori asks Robbo if he’s ready. Robbo says he isn’t but Tori thinks this might help him find peace. She leads him to the grave for Kat and the baby and says she’ll give him a moment, standing with her back to him. Robbo crouches by the grave and thanks Kat for saving him, saying he’s sorry he couldn’t save her and will never forget her.

Justin and Willow are in bed and Willow asks what happens now. Justin asks if she means right now or the rest of their lives. He kisses her before saying they both have the day off so could stay in bed. Willow suggests breakfast. Justin goes through to the living area but there is a knock at the door. He pulls a shirt on before answering and finds it is Ava. He asks if she’s run away and she says Nina’s with her and she’s come to stay. She asks why he isn’t dressed and who Willow (who has appeared wearing a shirt) is. Willow cheerily notes she could say the same about her before asking Justin what’s going on.
