Jai and Axel are up to no good. Aden juggles caring, work and study? Can Nicole accept Roman and Charlie’s relationship? Will Martha come clean with Jack?

Extended Summary

Jai and Axel are getting friendlier all the time. But, when they mess around manipulating a photo of Bartlett together and cause the whole school computer system to crash, Jai ends up taking the blame. Unfortunately, its not just Bartlett who is angry with him, Aden loses the assignment he was working on, and he’s not happy.

It doesn’t get any better for Aden when Belle tells him he’s on the evening shift at the Diner. She is worried about him. How long can he juggle caring for his sick father and working at the Diner as well as keeping on top his school-work for? Losing his assignment is all he needs!

Roman’s relationship with Charlie has put Nicole in a foul mood. She can’t understand what he sees in Charlie and thinks he should be spending more time with her instead of playing around with ‘Robocop’. Desperate for someone to talk to she approaches Aden who refuses to enter into a conversation about it. To fuel further, while walking along the beach with Geoff, she spots her father on the beach with Charlie and ends up stomping away, angry.

Charlie’s curiosity has got the better of her and she ends up asking Jack if he has any idea why there would be a DNA test in Roman’s bedroom. When Jack mentions this to Martha she panics and rushes off to find out what the hell Roman was doing leaving such a thing lying around for anyone to see. Charlie sees the two of them looking tense and confides in Jack that she is worried Roman may have something to hide.

Jack’s suspicions over Martha’s involvement in this are roused already but when he discovers the amniocentesis papers in her bag, his detective antennae are up and he confronts her. Jack has guessed it in one – Martha doesn’t know who the father is. It’s going to be hard for the shocked and stricken Martha to cover this one up.
