Extended Summary

Robbie, Jack and Fitzgerald race inside the cottage – but there is no one to be found. Their fears are rising as they emerge with not a single clue to lead them to Tasha and Martha. Meanwhile, Martha is in the caravan, struggling desperately to break free from the chains. She spots a hair pin and uses every inch of strength to reach it. Eventually, Martha succeeds in breaking free and races urgently through the bush to find help. Jack, Robbie and Fitzgerald are deflated as they hop back in the car, having found no clues to shed light on Tasha and Martha’s whereabouts. As they are driving off, Robbie notices a figure in the rear vision mirror and spins around to see a hysterical Martha trailing the car, yelling out desperately for them to stop. They come to a grinding halt, jump out of the car and race over to Martha, who breaks the news that Mumma Rose has taken Tasha!

Tasha is dragged, kicking and screaming, in to an abandoned house by Mumma Rose’s assistant, Jim. Tasha pleads with Mumma Rose to leave her alone, but Mumma Rose smiles, insisting she mustn’t worry. Tasha is filled with fear as Mumma Rose and Jim move away to discuss their plans. Once the door is open, Tasha spots a baby’s nursery set up in the opposite room – uh-oh what is Mumma Rose planning? Tasha desperately tries to struggle free, screaming with all her might – but will anyone hear her cries for help before it’s too late?

It’s all systems go at the Police Station, as the hunt for Mumma Rose continues. Robbie is grilling Martha, desperate for answers. Jack steps in to calm him down but poor Robbie is overwhelmed by fear for Tasha and the baby’s safety. The moment is interrupted by the arrival of Alf and Robbie’s family. Martha races to her grandfather for a big hug – it’s the first time they’ve seen each other since her wedding day. Beth embraces Robbie, offering him all the comfort she can. Matilda begins to get teary and Dean moves to offer his support. All the while, Lucas watches on feeling completely helpless. The room is suddenly filled with excitement as Jack races in with the news they have had a tip off from a farmer who has heard strange noises coming from the neighbouring property. Jack and the other police officers race off, leaving Robbie hoping desperately they will find Tasha.

Jack approaches the door of the abandoned house with caution. Jack pulls out his gun and barges through but is disappointed to discover the noise is coming from an old TV. As he gazes around, it’s clear the house is being occupied by squatters. Jack can’t believe they have the wrong place! He and Fitzgerald jump back inside their car and take off. As they drive away, they wave to an oncoming car but unbeknownst to them, it’s Jim. Their one lead to Tasha has just passed them by! Back at the Station, Jack delivers the bad news and Robbie is devastated. Everyone tries their best to comfort Robbie and eventually Fitzgerald appears with news that the drug stolen from the pharmacy was Doxinovril and grimly explains it is used to induce labour. Everyone is stunned as they come to the shocking realisation that Mumma Rose has returned for Tasha’s baby!

Meanwhile, Tasha continues her fight to free herself. Mumma Rose appears, urging her to give up yelling because no-one will hear her. Mumma Rose encourages Tasha to drink a cloudy drink but Tasha refuses, screaming at Mumma Rose to stay the hell away from her and her baby! Tasha becomes increasingly exhausted and eventually falls asleep. Mumma Rose’s offsider, Jim, arrives and hands her the vial containing the drug. Mumma Rose smiles to herself, as she fills a syringe with the drug and moves sinisterly towards Tasha. Tasha awakes and is horrified to find Mumma Rose poised above her with the syringe. Tasha panics when she discovers the purpose of the drug. Mumma Rose is taken aback by Tasha’s begs to stop – she has a medical condition and unless she has a Caesarean, she and her baby will die. Mumma Rose is stunned – will she listen to Tasha’s warning?
