Domestic duties start getting in the way of Greg’s affair.

Extended Summary

It starts at Fisher’s place, where Fiona’s working, as Greg brings Sam over to stay for the day. As Sam and Fisher go to watch a video, Greg and Fiona talk very furtively. He’s worried about Nick but she tells him, she’s not seen him and he breathes a sigh of relief, then makes a date to see her later. He has to take a blender round to the Diner from Fisher, which Bobby wants to borrow but when he gets there, she wants to spend some quality time with him and he can’t get out of it. Sarah’s talking to Ailsa about Tug’s letter and how touch she was by it but it’s made her more confused. Ailsa thinks she should take her time but when Bobby joins them, she disagrees, siding for Tug’s feelings but they both agree it’s up to Sarah, in the end. Meanwhile, Alf’s keeping Tug busy at the store but when Michael arrives, he tells him he’s got a love sick puppy working for him at the moment and it’s hard going. The phone rings and Tug goes to answer it but Alf intercepts, to find it’s a customer enquiring if he sells organic vegetables. He moans to Michael about that being the third enquiry he’s received and realises he’s got to go with the flow – if that’s what the customer wants, then he’ll sell it.

Damian goes over to do his training session at Laura’s and finds her trying to repair her car and refuses help because she’s got no money to use on such luxuries. As far as she’s concerned, she’s got legs and she’ll use them instead.

Bobby and Greg are back home and she starts working on the Slave Auction for the Refuse Centre but she senses Greg’s mind is not on the job, although he tries to hide it. Sam and Fisher come in to collect his kite but when Fisher sees his name on her list, he insists she remove it because, as School Principal, it’s unbecoming. He’s surprised to see Alf’s name on it and she admits she’s not spoken to him about it yet and given how he reacted, decides she needs to talk to those concerned. Greg begrudgingly goes along with her and their first victim is Michael but he has no objection. Damian returns, as they leave to go and tackle Alf and he tells him about Laura’s situation with the car. When Michael talks about organic vegetables, Damian looks thoughtful and heads off to talk to Alf about it. He then heads off to see Laura, excited at the prospect of easing her money worries but is taken aback by her refusal to sell any of her vegetables. Try as he might, to try and change her mind, he speaks his mind before storming out, leaving her annoyed by his reaction.

Alf has let Tug go and he heads off to the Diner, where he finds Sarah and they go for a walk along the beach, to talk. Things start off well, with Sarah telling him how touched she was by his letter but he misreads the signals, thinking she’s about to take him back. She makes it quite clear, she’s not and he’s mortified, as she walks away and returns to the Diner, upset and tells Ailsa what happened. Back at the store, Bobby is working hard on Alf and he eventually agrees to participate in the Auction, so now she has to persuade Fisher to do it. She and Greg go round to his house and she uses the same tactics on him, as she did on Alf, until he too, agrees. Greg finally gets the opportunity to leave, to do a leaflet drop but he heads straight over to Fiona’s and apologises for not getting there sooner. They arrange to go on a picnic the next afternoon and before he leaves, they kiss. Back at Fisher’s, he’s sensed things are a bit tensed between Bobby and Greg, but she assures him, they’re fine. At the Surf Club, Tug is venting his anger on the Pin-Ball machine and Michael tells him off. When he tries to talk to him, Tug is in no mood to listen and just storms out.

Damian returns home and tells Michael about his run-in with Laura and thinks she’s crazy to still hold a vendetta against the townsfolk after fifteen years. He wonders if there is more to it, than she’s letting on. Tug returns home in a foul mood and refuses to help Bobby with her campaign. Greg returns and he’s happy about his date with Fiona the next day, but he’s horrified to learn he’ll have Sam in tow, as Bobby’s decided to go it alone because of his reluctance to help her earlier.

It ends with him trying to put Sam off but it looks like his picnic with Fiona, is off…
