Extended Summary

It starts at Fisher’s house where Greg and Fiona are at odds about whether to start an affair and they’re are interrupted by Alf delivering groceries. After he leaves, Greg tells her he’s going to tell Bobby the truth before it gets out of hand and it’s not what she wants – she wants him. Down on the beach, Tug pleads with Sarah to change her mind but she’s adamant, telling him she can’t forgive him for ruining the musical and his possessiveness is too much to handle. A dejected Tug watches as she walks away and when Shane finds out his plan worked, he’ll be delighted. At the Diner, Ailsa advises Bobby to be very careful if she really intends to confront Greg over his alleged affair. Michael and Damian arrive as she leaves and they get into conversation with Ailsa about Lorna Brennan. She’s impressed with what he’s found out about her but agrees with Michael, he should steer clear of her place on his training runs but will he listen. Michael reminds him he’s got to help him at the Kiosk later and as Michael unloads the supplies outside the Surf Club, he encounters a strange conversation with Greg. When asked if he’s ever lied to Pippa, he advises Greg to always be honest because lies have a nasty habit of catching you out.. Bobby’s back home waiting for his return and warns Tug to give Sarah some breathing space, as he’s about to leave. A surprise visitor arrives and Bobby fears the worst when Fiona says she needs to talk to her about Greg. She explains how they first meet and how he’s been helping her and assures her they’re not having an affair and Bobby believes her. Meanwhile, Damian has another encounter with Lorna and tells her he’s knows all about her running skill but she orders him off her land. As he leaves, she stands there, watching him and at the Surf Club, he tells Michael about it. Michael’s not impressed and warns him, she could have him prosecuted but he’s got a fixation about her being a Championship runner. As they talk about her, the woman drives by and Michael tells him, once again, to stay away.
Ailsa’s concerned that Sarah won’t leave the house, in fear of bumping into Tug and as they discuss it, he arrives but she tells him she doesn’t want to talk to him. He’s insistent and Ailsa tells him to leave and shuts the door in his face. He shouts out that he’s not leaving until he’s had his say.

There’s a heavy downpour and Greg arrives home, soaking wet but before he can say anything, Bobby tells him about Fiona’s visit and apologises for thinking he was having an affair. Back at the Stewart’s, Alf arrives home for lunch and orders Tug off his land when he finds out he’s pestering Sarah but when he refuses to go, Ailsa rings Bobby. She drives over and persuades him to come home, where he breaks down and cries.

The rain has stopped the work on the Kiosk extension and Michael and Damian are back home. Lorna pays them a surprise visit, to drop over an exercise plan for Damian’s running but doesn’t hang around to talk about it.

At the Diner, Ailsa asks Bobby what happened between her and Greg and she tells her he was seeing another woman. Ailsa can’t believe how calm she is until she grins and explains Fiona’s visit.

The rain has now stopped and Greg goes over to see Fiona, to thank her for what she said to Bobby but she has a proposition for him. She doesn’t want to break his marriage up but if they were meant to be, she wants him.

It ends when she tells him she’s going away for a few days, to allow him time to think about what she’s said…

ITV Censorship: It would appear that Shane was in this episode because he’s being blamed for the misery Tug’s in. If he was, it was not shown here.
