When Lance and Debbie visited the Bay in early 2000, they told Colleen that Debbie was pregnant. However with Lance AWOL from the army, they were soon forced to return to Queensland.

In 2001, Colleen was talking to Leah how she had never seen her granddaughter. After Colleen had helped reinstall some romance back into Vinnie and Leah’s relationship Leah setting about making it happen.

Lance came down with Maggie in 2001. Unfortunately, Debbie didn’t want Colleen seeing Maggie and Lance had to pretend be at Aunty Rhonda’s. Unfortunately, Debbie was wise to what was going on and came down and took Maggie away. Lance eventually managed to talk Debbie around and Colleen was allowed to baby sit Maggie whilst Lance and Debbie had a romantic meal.

Maggie came to the Bay in 2003 when Lance and Debbie came to see Colleen whilst she was a “famous author”.
