Extended Summary
Robbo runs out of the Diner flat, looking around. He sees Alf on the wharf and runs over to him, asking if he’s seen anyone about. Alf says just locals. Robbo runs over to Colby, who is coming back from a surf, and shows him the photos. Colby says they weren’t there when he went out about an hour ago and he didn’t see anyone about then except Alf. Robbo is furious that they were on his doorstep. They head back to the flat where neither of them can understand the message on the photo, except that it seems someone thinks Robbo knows something. Colby reminds Robbo he was meant to be flushing them out but Robbo says Jasmine wasn’t meant to be around. Jasmine emerges from her room, light-heartedly complaining about Robbo not getting her coffee as promised. Robbo shakes his head at Colby, warning him not to tell her.
Maggie texts a message to Ben saying she’s worried about him, then realises his phone is still in the house. Ziggy arrives home for some clothes, saying she’s working on a car with Justin. Maggie asks if she and Dean saw Ben when they went for a surf and Ziggy slightly awkwardly indicates they were doing something else first thing. Maggie admits they had an argument but says it’s nothing to worry about. Meanwhile, Ben is sitting on the beach. Alf approaches him and asks how he’s feeling after the previous night; Ben realises Alf brought him home and says he seems to be letting everyone down. Alf invites him to come for a walk.
Jasmine suggests that since nothing happened the previous day they can go to Yabbie Creek and see a movie. Robbo says they have to stay close at hand so Jasmine suggests going to the beach, since it’ll be safety in numbers and they’d notice anyone they didn’t know. She tries to get Colby on her side but he defers to Robbo. Robbo sends her to have a shower, saying they’ll see afterwards. Colby thinks Robbo should tell her but Robbo says she’ll have questions he can’t answer. He goes into the bedroom and calls Lance, who has just arrived at the safe house to brief Tori and Scott. Robbo tells him about the photos. Lance wants to send someone round to collect them but Robbo points out they’re being watched and suggests he instead get Colby to take them to the local station so the feds can pick them up from there. Lance hands him over to Tori; she suspects something is wrong but Robbo says he’s just worried about her and the baby and gives her a brief update on her family.
Alf and Ben are sat on a bench. Ben reflects that the board order was meant to set his family up and instead it’s sunk them, referring to himself as naïve. Alf says Ben needs to remember that he’s the victim. Ben says he took it out on Maggie. Alf tells him that what’s happened hasn’t made him a lesser man and he needs to let Maggie support him. Ben goes home and apologises to Maggie. She doesn’t respond and he adds that she shouldn’t have made decisions without consulting him. Maggie notes that’s not much of an apology and Ben says he’s not hearing one from her either. Maggie insists she’s done nothing wrong, just made a few calls. Ben gets angry again about her going behind his back and storms out.
Justin and Ziggy are walking near the beach. Justin remembers seeing Ben drinking heavily last night. Ziggy admits she’s spent the last several nights at Dean’s in order to avoid things. Justin gives her the rest of the day off to check on him. Ziggy asks about Tori and Justin expresses frustration that the feds can call him but he can’t call them. He goes over to Alf outside the bait shop and asks if he’s seen Robbo. Alf tells him about Robbo’s mood earlier. Up in the flat, Robbo is telling Colby about the arrangements when Justin knocks on the door, wanting to know what’s going on and worried something has happened to Tori. When Jasmine appears, Colby ushers Justin out.
Colby assures Justin that nothing has happened with Tori and Robbo spoke to her earlier. He says something has happened but it concerns Robbo and Jasmine, and Jasmine doesn’t know about it. He understands that Justin’s worried but says that Robbo will call him if anything happens. Outside the safe house, Lance is about to leave, exchanging a last few words with Scott. Tori comes over and asks Lance what’s going on, realising something has happened with Robbo. Lance says that he’ll make sure nothing happens to Robbo or Jasmine.
Ziggy has called Maggie to meet her at the Diner. Maggie admits that Ben came home and they just argued again. She says Ben has been down since the arrest, and since the meeting with the lawyer he’s been angry as well. Ziggy says he’s probably worried about facing twenty-five years in jail and suggests Maggie cut him some slack. The two of them head back to the farm house where Ben is asleep on the sofa, and Maggie complains about the mess. Ben wakes up and chats pleasantly to Ziggy. Maggie tells Ziggy to go back to Dean, then tells Ben they have a lot to talk about.
Jasmine asks Robbo why they can’t go out, realising something has happened. Robbo shows her the photos. Jasmine is shocked and says they could have been murdered in their sleep. Robbo puts a positive spin on it, saying the fact they haven’t means the people are interested in something other than revenge. Later, Robbo sends Colby off with the photos, telling him to ask for ID before handing them over. Jasmine warns him that whoever’s watching them probably knows about him. Robbo tells Jasmine that they’ll increase security and then sort things out, but once he’s alone he looks very worried indeed.
