Episode 6756

Extended Summary

Kat, Robbo, Justin and Scarlett have arrived at their gateway retreat, a secluded cabin in the woods. As they girls go off to check out inside while the boys unpack the car, Scarlett tells Kat how worried she is being way with Justin because of Caleb but Kat tells her to relax. They are observed unknown by the stranger who has followed them. Scarlett finds Justin relaxing in a hammock waiting for the maintenance guy to fix the generator. The maintenance man is the man that’s been following them unknown to Scarlett and Justin. As he leaves Kat and Robbo arrive just missing him and they all head off to grab some food. Scarlett feels uncomfortable sharing a bed with Justin, who offers to sleep outside so she can have the loft to herself. While gathering firewood, Robbo finds a piece of wick which puzzles him, as he walks back inside he fails to see the hidden bomb behind the stacked firewood. Justin and Scarlett watch Kat and Robbo try their hand at canoeing from a romantic bench on the hillside with a couple of beers. They seem to be backing progress in their relationship and almost back to how things were. While sitting by the fire, Justin and Scarlett share a passionate kiss before Scarlett heads inside to go to bed. Meanwhile Robbo and Kat are having a cuddle by the fire inside and are interrupted by Scarlett who comes in to go to bed and breaks up their passionate embrace. Unable to sleep Robbo can’t help but ponder the fuse wire he has found, he goes outside back to the firewood stack and sees the glow of the bomb countdown. He bends down to see that there is only 1 minute left on the countdown and begins screaming for everyone to get out. Grabbing Kat and Justin, who worries about Scarlett who hasn’t yet made it out of the house, saying it’s too late, Robbo tries to hold Justin back but he breaks free and runs to the house just as the cabin explodes.

Tori walks Brody to the pier diner for his first day. They pass Mason who is headed to the hospital and is clearly worried and is reminded by Tori that he has a meeting at the hospital today with his supervisor about speaking to Brenden which he shrugs off to Tori’s concerns. Brody is welcomed at the pier diner and given a new apron before being run through the menu. He is a little taken aback by the simpleness of the menu but grateful for being given the chance humble accepts it. Meanwhile John makes a bet with Irene that Brody will take over the diner within a week, changing the menu with fancy meals. Brody is struggling over how simple the diner meals are and suggests sprucing it up to John’s delight but is quickly stopped by Irene. Marilyn can’t help but see that Brody wants to add some seasoning to the patty mix, which only the other day Irene had complained was too bland. Just as he is about to add some coriander, Irene snatches it out of his hand saying it doesn’t need it. Once she has stormed off, John encourages Brody to do it anyway saying what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her.

At the hospital, back from more tests Beth is in good spirits and feeling optimistic about the future and Mason surprises Beth with news that they can go out for a bit. Tori interrupts and informs Beth about Mason’s meeting with the disciplinary board. Beth encourages Mason to attend his meeting, saying he fought for her life and now must fight for his. Mason shows up late but explains himself to the board, accepting responsibility for his actions. Later with Beth, waiting for the verdict, Tori comes in and tells Mason, that while an investigation is not going to be taken, that he is not going to be criminally charged he can’t continue with his placement here any longer. Beth can’t help but feel guilty over Mason losing his placement even though he assures he that he isn’t upset.
