I really like John Palmer especially in his comedic scenes with Xavier, Jett, Gina and other characters.

He is an asset to the cast and has grown to be likeable over time.

Given that I'd been converted into a fan of John by the end of 2009(I seem to remember a similar poll around that time), I'm glad that he seems to have won most of the audience over.I think he is one of the best things about the show at the moment.

He's one of my favourites. He adds some much needed humour and even made Xavier far more likeable. Loved their scenes together and same with Jett and Gina.

Great character. When he first appeared in 2009, he came across as your typical and arrogant right-wing conservative who would only appear as a guest character for a short period of time. It's amazing that after 3 years, my views on him have changed quickly. He's certainly become an asset to the show and he provides a comic relief to the show.

It's even better that Shane Withington recently renewed his contract, and therefore as a result he'll be staying to at least 2015.
