1. Yes, Professor Dex is in a wheelchair, cos in the X Men, Professor X is in a wheelchair, despite being a powerful mutant (can't remember why he's in a wheelchair- Red?) Hence why he's 'Professor Dex'.

Says the guy who isn't a comic buff but does a good impersonation of one:It seems to vary a bit from version to version but usually it's the result of him having his back broken in a battle with a supervillain some time before he formed the X-Men.

As always, I am indebted to you sir (bows)

Ah, thanks for the clarification both of you. I'm not really a sci-fi nerd, so those kind of references go over my head. But I'm enjoying this thoroughly, nonetheless.

Loved that chapter, with yet more Star Wars references in there. There might have been references to other stuff too but I didn't recognise them.Lovely lightness of touch about it and some nice humour. Was not expecting Marilyn to be working with Braxneto.

So what happens next?Oh, hang on...

Now, references: you got the James Bond ones, surely? And the 'you're a bit short for a (stormtrooper)?' Possibly also Charliqe going green with rage... Even I'm puzzled about my own references

I think the whole scene has rather an Austin Powers atmosphere TBH

Glad you like it, gang. Perhaps we should call ourselves something, like the Scooby gang
